  1. Uh oh, one of the organizers is backwards!
  2. On sale at HD for $169. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-18-Volt-REDLITHIUM-High-Demand-9-0Ah-Battery-Pack-48-11-1890/207121212
  3. Interesting that it's $99 since you can get the current M18 vac for $99 that is bigger. Sure it's more portable, but i don't see any other benefit over the old one.
  4. Check out this little dude... don't remember seeing this announced back at the NPS. https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/0882-20
  5. For me at least... bottom line, I'm invested in Milwaukee, so that's what I'm gonna buy. Period. (Whenever I save up $599).
  6. I've never had/used the M12, but I do own the M18 and can vouch that the M18 is great. Compared to others, I wish the blade change was easier on the M18, but it is tool free.
  7. So this makes me curious if there are other tools about to hit the market that weren't announced at the symposium?
  8. GREAT FIND! here's a link... http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-FUEL-SURGE-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Brushless-1-4-in-Hex-Hydraulic-Impact-Driver-Tool-Only-2760-20/300193508?keyword=Milwaukee+surge
  9. I checked all my batteries... No one key logo. I wonder if those that do have the logo on them have some extra functionality that the others don't?
  10. Meaning the screw that goes thru the center of the blade only semi-engages?
  11. Kind of funny, because all of the pics are of a corded model.
  12. The event wasn't that great honestly. Every answer to every question was "go to Acmetools.com to see the latest from Milwaukee" and the guys were not prepared on what to say about the tools.
  13. Acmetools.com did Milwaukee live event on Facebook today. Can use code MilwaukeeLive for 15% off $100+ purchase; today only I think.
  14. I agree on the charger, they should really include the rapid charger. I will admit, some of the marketing info seems a bit out of date. I've never been impressed with Milwaukee's website. I can usually find things easier and get more info from HomeDepot's site. I was super pleased when I purchased the fuel grinder from HD that came with 2 batteries because it was advertised to come with 2 of the 4.0ah batteries, but when I got it, it had had 2 of the 5.0ah batteries.
  15. This video review is using the tools in a way that they would never be used in a real world application. There are better video reviews out there that are more accurate.
  16. I just realized its a "pro event" (whatever that is)... AND it ends today... AND they're "out of stock online".
  17. those 3 - 5.0 batteries will keep what you have going for a long time. plenty of time at least to get one charged up while its not needed.
  18. Looks like the new M18 nailers are 20% off at HomeDepot.com
  19. Without question, I would do option 1. Trim the overhang and move on. Although, if you do that, use a router and round over the edge to knock off the hard edge.
  20. I recently decided to jump in to one brand of cordless tools and was pretty much down to either DeWalt or Milwaukee. I ended up going Milwaukee because I felt they had a slight edge in quality, but maybe mostly because I don't see them everywhere and I like having something different. I don't think any of the major tool brands are making junk, so much of it comes down to how you take care of things.
  21. Fuel circ saw. You'll be glad you spent the extra money. Or you could do the M18 hackzall... I love it!
