  1. Okay. Well this took longer than expected. I intended to take more pictures of the process but I got caught up with trying to finish this as fast as I could. Here is a bunch of pictures that I took.
  2. Great to hear from you too Jimbo! And I really like the video's you've been putting out. Keep it up man!
  3. Nice to hear from you Chris. Yeah, my Wife got into a huge fight with my Mom, decided that she wanted to leave Hawaii. It's expensive to live here as well. Average price for a small 2 bedroom house is 650K. But I've grown up here all my life and I love it here. The beaches are great, weather is great, not much crime. I'm trying to convince my Wife to stay.
  4. Kruton, great to hear from you man. Yeah, I don't think I can ever leave Hawaii. I'm just trying to convince my Wife to stay here.
  5. Thanks BigMikeZ! I'm glad to hear from you too! Hope your doing well.
  6. Here's pic of where the shed will end up
  7. Well, it looks like I won't be leaving Hawaii for at least another year. We recently moved to another place, down the road. It's a bit smaller, so storage space is much needed, especially for all my tools. I'll keep you guys posted on the build, with pictures and stuff as soon as I get chance.
  8. Man I've been so absent, I didn't even know that there was a new symposium happening. Can't wait to check out the new offerings. I just saw the TIA video of the Milwaukee 10" Miter. I like that it has a 10" blade, because they are much easier to come by as opposed to 7-1/4" Miter saw blades. (Difference in Miter vs Circular Saw blades being in the rake angle). I really hope that it's light weight and compact, the DeWalt is very portable. And I like that they stole the DeWalt light/shadow system as well.
  9. Thanks crew for all the support. You guys are the best. Miss talking with all of you and I really like the direction the forum is headed, and how far along it's come. Everything seems to work much better now. Anyway, I don't want to hijack this topic. I'll try to be more active on the forum again. Peace!
  10. I would not get a combo. Yes, they save on space, and you can pick up a Jet combo within your budget. But, the jointer/planer combo sucks at doing both things. I highly suggest picking up two separate tools. You will thank yourself in the end and be a much happier woodworker. I only have anecdotal experience with the combos, apparently, you will be constantly checking the blades for parallel when you switch between functions. As the crew members mentioned, the DeWalt planer is kickass. Have a look at the Rigid planer as well, I know the guys over at FineWoodWorking have given it a good review and it's a bit cheaper. I have an old Delta jointer that works well. Jointers can be expensive, try Craigslist for a good old one.
  11. I think having the same 'sign in' name is a good idea. I like things simple.
  12. Hey crew! Thanks for all the support. ProTool! It's great to hear from you again man. I was an idiot when I signed up for the forum, I thought that I had to have a Facebook account, so I made one for the sole purpose of going on this forum. Eventually, my Facebook got hacked so I closed the account. That meant I could no longer sign in to this forum. So I created an account the correct way now and I don't have to have a Facebook! Hurray!. Facebook and stuff is not for me, the TIA Forum is all the social that I care for.
  13. Man, It's a long story. I'll keep it short. I went in to pay my union dues and had a talk with one the union reps. He liked my attitude and immediately got me a job that afternoon. I worked for 3 days doing finish carpentry work at Ala Moana Shopping Center (High End Shopping Malls) and really enjoyed the work. During this time, my wife got into a huge fight with my mom. So my wife decided she wanted to move. So I had to quit my Union Job and start the process of moving. I can't transfer my Union membership until after 6 months and my wife wanted to move in the next month. I'll have to start the process all over again in Washington State.
  14. Hey What's Up Crew! This is NaluRash! I've been MIA because my facebook and twitter got hijacked. Anyway, this is my new account so I can post stuff here again. It's sad though because I had a ton of posts that no longer count. Anyway, great to be back here and talking with the crew again. I don't think I will be on Periscope much though, I don't like creating multiple emails. Take care!
