There's a guy on YouTube that says all you need to do is put a FlexVolt battery on it...... Fixes every tool right? Voodoo magic!!!! Err more amps....
  3. Pics almost a year old shes a lot more battle tested now. 887 like it so much I have a spare and my backup to my backup is an 886.... hummm to think of it why do I have 2 backups that I'll never need to use?
  4. I give em a good cleaning and sometimes Inkzall the the logos but that's where I stop.
  5. It appears too that they are a SBD brand.... as their email address is @sbdinc.com Greenlee seems to use Makita
  6. Facom a SBD company: Mac also SBD: Would be sweet if SBD adopted this approach for all their brands..... I would soooo buy Black and Decker stuff for "non essential" or less used tools, probably some Porter Cable goodies too.
  7. I believe they are owned by Danaher not SBD and no their batteries are not compatible. You might be thinking of Mac which is an SBD brand, I would love a Mac battery ooohhh rubber over mold and fluid resistant
  8. Wouldn't hurt to make a thread on the topic.... as I suspect more may be in the pipes but I'll add a 3rd party item.... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C3FTYG0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  9. Geez he said he was just getting into woodworking, I'd like to think everyone could start off with Wood Peckers stuff but we don't all have Bill Gates money.
  10. Next time I see her I will ask, I'm sure they don't stock em but can't hurt to ask.
  11. Can't go wrong with a Swanson, they are the one all others are judged by, my personal favorite is Johnson https://www.amazon.com/Johnson-Level-Tool-RAS-1-Aluminum/dp/B00002N5O6/ref=pd_sim_469_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=RSKRZTZKNQNFR2942W30 Ace also sells the Craftsman labled version http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=35554456&cp=2568443.2568450.2628078.2629269 I keep a "back to school" protractor, compass, ruler kit I got at Staples, a decent combo square is a must, I use an older Stanley works fine and don't forget the good ol' "L" carpenter square.
  12. Ha, just noticed the local Graco dealer is Sherman Williams....... I'm building a house for one of their design consultants..... HUMMMM I wonder...............
  13. Without taking too much about things I cannot talk about(1st rule of fight club), there might be an initiative where by DeWalt may or may not work with other companies outside SBD to produce items of a non competing nature to be "Powered By DeWalt". Cough Cough, this is just speculation based on NOTHING AT ALL....
  14. Not exactly new but long lost and now found, I had thought I left it on a job never to be seen again..... turns out my son "borrowed" it about 5 years ago!
  15. humm I would have expected more for the FV.
  16. A Flexvolt shop vac would be sick! I also like the idea of a 20v brushless portable vac.... sadly I have no knowledge if either are coming.
  17. Yup that appears to be my only option and was/am planning to get a couple FV batteries for that very reason. To be honest the DCS391 has always done everything I've asked and I'm very much pleased with it, I just had high hopes that the next 20V saw would be an upgrade to everything I like about it. I'm more than happy to keep on using it but hey who wouldn't want a shinny new one with the latest tech?
  18. I have it, use it exclusively, not DYI, for a living.... Want brushless runtime, a small bump in power wouldn't hurt my feelings either. Hate right blade saws.... *If* I need a 7.25 there's a worm drive in the tool trailer but I never need it.
  19. So much hope for the left blade...... disappointing. After the FV right blade I practically expected the next 20v to be a left..... this is such a bummer
  20. YES DEWALT YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION TO BLATANTLY COPY THESE!!!!!!!!
  21. Ya I'm holding out for brushless 20v stuff, I'll a stay tethered to the cord till then.
  22. b- and b+ are power, th and c3 are for the tools overheat sensor c1-4 are for balance charging and im not exactly sure what id is for
