  1. Actually had to buy one on a kitchen remodel, wow kickback!!!, But it worked for the 5ft I needed it for, good thing HF has an easy return policy lol.
  2. Almost zero electronics in a 20v DeWalt battery, there are only the fuel gauge and a temp sensor. Ridgid/Ryobi batteries have lots-o-tronics and while clearly different form factors of their boards the electo components are identical.
  3. I may or may not have answered some questions about a heat gun but I cannot disclose the name of the manufacturer or if it runs on 20v Max BATTERIES, First rule..................of.....................fight..........................um...er...uhhh......
  4. lol, yeah thats gotta stay, odd ball local lake front codes prevent "new" construction on this lake so to get around it there has to be a certain amount of existing structure, had to goto the zoning board more than a few times over it, but thats not my problem lol. The electrical is "temp" not exactly sure where its going to end up but sure looks permanent, it actually was moved there recently.
  5. I don't get it.... isn't that how everyone does demo?
  6. Let's not confuse Hitachi as budget friendly for being cheap, IMO they are of the highest cut and build quality of saws twice the price and easily besting saws from DeWalt, Bosch and alike. Pair a Hitachi with a good blade and you can't go wrong.
  7. My vote is Hitachi, by far the best bank for the buck, I've used a few Dewalt's and couple Bosch, I still end up using the Hitachi!
  8. Took just a tiny bit of fiddling around, I'm surprised how easy it was in the end though.
  9. Funny that I actually have a 1/2 bath in my closet.... It's in the early stages of being redone, at least that's what I've been telling my wife for a year.
  10. I've shot dozens of Brad nailers and I litteraly feel there is no difference in a $20 vs $120 gun in how they shoot(quantity of tool is another story), I can't speak about that Festool nailer but it better shoot a bull's-eye across the room for a $200 Brad gun!
  11. Dewalt DCK277C2 refurb $100 free shipping use coupon C20PRESDAY http://www.ebay.com/itm/201802367288?customid=2492aaa6f5d311e6811ebee56e17977c0INT&pub=5574652453&campid=5335869999&afepn=5335869999&afepn=5335869999&rmvSB=true
  12. I have lil Stanley and Lufkin tapes, crazy handy!
  13. I'm not so sure these are mearlly BT versions of the existing line, note the bases all appear to have push button controls, a very prominent XR on the bodies and to me the impact head looks slightly... Different, bigger?, can't quite put my finger on it. Also that's a BT 6ah battery that the premium drill is perched on.
  14. Heat wave YO! Temps shot up to 40 the past week, was 20s today and supposed go back up to mid 50's soon!!!!!
  15. Didn't buy, won it! Came in the mail today
