  1. I got this resently for working on a remodel for my brother...
  2. Based on DeWalts track record, I'd say that's 2-4 years out.... They either innovate with new class products at breakneck speed or drag their asses meeting the competition...
  3. Ordered some more Ryobi stuff today, this time OPE, 18v mower(my yard is less than 60x22 mowable), trimmer and blower. Sad but true, all 3 of them have rafter hooks, puzzles me to no end why DeWalt refuses to put em on their saws etc. @Bremon
  4. Stuart did a little commentary about it today http://toolguyd.com/dewalt-tool-connect-update/
  5. Maybe it's just me but I kinda like the good old mode select switch.... But hey who am I to complain... I want em!!!!
  6. Ya know, I feel the same way, I kinda get the convenience of a cordless compressor, but I'm not a buyer, admittedly I still think the idea is cool.
  7. Got some T25's and love em, probably going to pickup the PH2's soon. They are only like $3.50 a pair at Menards right now.
  8. That sounds great! Well my brother bought me the Ryobi brad nailer so that opened the door to a giant can of worms so my brother-in-law then had no problem grabbing the Ryobi caulk gun.... So far a win win in my book. I've only ran about 6 tubes through it but so far so good, the let off is great, control seems good(I've not used it for trim yet) my only complaint and it's obvious because it's battery powered is the weight and size, but that is easily forgiven. I cannot compare it to any other battery gun since this is the only one I've ever used but if I could add a little wish list it would be a belt hook, LED and to shave a couple ounces.
  9. And added the "dust buster" and caulk gun......
  10. The light is insanely bright, really fills a room and speads out very well, I used it today as a flashlight and wow.
  11. Loved seeing your ponds in a commercial. Was pretty cool to see em before, will miss the cool stuff like that but hey it's understandable for sure.
  12. And just like that my Ryobi stuff grows...
  13. Went to a few HD's in to Detroit burbs and the sheet sanders where in stock, one had the router (should have snagged that).
  14. And BAM just like that I now have the P3320 fan and P720 light!
  15. On my short list, palm router, Led work light, and caulk gun.
  16. My brother bought me presents, little did he know that I'm an addict... Like buying crack for a crackhead! Now I gotta buy more Ryobi stuff!!!
  17. My brother has been having me do some work for him and last visit I fell in love with his Ryobi brad nailer, well this visit he get me one! And an extra 4ah battery too. I've been seriously considering Ryobi for some supplements to my Yellow tools, the consideration is over.
  18. @Jronman I gather that, and that does peak my interest a little but I primarily use 10oz, I'm most interested in hearing about real user experience and not some YouTube reviewer spouting off their impressions never having ran a bead of caulk in there life. I'm going to hop on Ryobi stuff for supplemental tools and would like to get opinions on whether the premium price difference is justified.
  19. I'm like that with peach flavoring, I like peaches but the fake flavor suff just turns my stomach! My wife is the same way with grapes. Love raspberries and the flavoring though... Mmmmmm blue raspberry slushy!!!!!
  20. I'm quite curious how well it works for you, got a shit ton of caulk to run soon and I've been considering Ryobi's(I have no Ryobi tools what so ever but having used the Brad I can talk myself into it kinda easily) but prefer DeWalt.
  21. Trades are getting rough ins done this week then spray insulation and drywall next week.
