  4. I had a few scares. Had CT scan show a spot that may have been a return of cancer. My pet scan showed no cancer. Very thankful. Steven, sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is very hard. Something I'm not looking forward to. My wife's grandmother is not doing very good. She is 95. I'm anticipating her death sometime this year. Hope everyone has a great new year.
  5. Lasto Monday it was 50 and raining. Got some flurries recently. But no real snow. I like seeing green/brown. My kid is bummed because his snow fort has melted. Told him to wait and he can rebuild it because it will snow again. Dr99, are least it has not been like the winter were we got about 100".
  6. Reminds me of giving a buddies bike the ghost rider.
  7. Though the modern furnace has a curcit board that gives a code. You still need to know how to read the code and figure out why the part went bad. Sometimes we have to take a component out of the system to see if that is the cause of the problem. Recently replaced a 2 stage heat exchanger. The furnace never went into high fire and went off on pressure switch. We had to call the manufacturer with this issue. After a long phone call found the cause of the issues and the solution. I personally hate going on a service call after the homeowner has "tried to solve the issue. The first thing I have to do is fix the homeowner repair and then find the real issue. Paying $240 for a furnace cleaning/tune up is very high. Our shop does this for less than half of that price.
  8. I have 2 Redmax 8500 Redmax 8050 Blows everything else away.
  9. Stopped at lowes by work today. Looked for the 6ah batteries. They didn't even have them on the floor. Had to ask the tool guy where they were, in top stock. They are similar in size to the flex volt batteries. They are about a 1/4 to 1/2" wider and 3/4" or so longer. I do not like the graphics, should have stuck with the same 20 volt graphics. Dewalt has too many 20 volt battery options in my opinion. 2,3,4,5 and now 2 6ah options. At some point theyou are going to have to drop one or more sizes.
  10. In Detroit we have hard hats with the light on top with the red wings logo
  11. Reminds me of the Afracian businessman/ prince who wants to send/hide money from the government/ business partners
  12. I have 2 redmax blowers, 8050 and 8500. Both are beasts. I do use them in the winter to blow light snow falls. They will move wet leaves with ease. I have even been able to move small rocks. You won't be disappointed with the blower. I do recommend getting it with the trigger on the tube as opposed to our the hip.
  13. Damn autocorrect. meant to say redressed. it is this same blower only orange and black vs red and black
  14. That Husqvarna is actually made by Redmax. Husqvarna bought Redmax several years ago. It is a repressed Redmax 8500.
  15. A lot of nascar teams use the 20very dewalt blower. most pit crews dewalt 20v tools in the pit box
  16. I'm in northern Oakland County. in the i69 snow corridor. when Dave say 6" for Detroit and 9"for flint Imy looking for 9"

  18. I also live in SE Michigan, though I live in a snow belt. Last year I bought a Cub Cadet 3 stage snowblower. That thing made short work of the crappie that the plow leaves at the end of the street. Might want to take a look at that, though they are pricey.
  19. Not needed if you live where it snows. I have two Redmax backpack blowers that I use to clear light snow in the winter. they work great.
