new product / Dewalt 20v DCS367 Max Compact Brushless Reciprocating Saw
Mordekyle replied to midogrumpy's topic in Dewalt
Semi useful. Seems it would be great for cutting PVC or other lightweight stuff. I used it to snip nails behind corner boards on a house As I pried them off with a cats paw. Easy to use one-handed. Good tool to use to teach my kids to use power tools. No way I would buy the 12 V tool, no need for another platform. I do like the belt hook. For the same reason I like it on the atomic circular saw: The Small size of the tools with the hooks make it more convenient as I work on ladders and can’t hang onto a tool without a hook. Jammed? If it’s the framer, Loosen the Allen screws so the magazine can pivot down. That will allow the driver to return home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

IDK if there is an adjustment other than shimming or bending the bracket. (20v) I have one that doesn’t cut quite true, so it is a dedicated demo saw for me. My tried and true saw gave up the smoke, so they replaced it. It seems to cut true. One answer may be to sell (or donate or toss) the old saw and buy a new one. People looking to buy used tools for less than $100 aren’t generally that picky or astute. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Old tech is old, regardless of original price. A large screen TV of yesteryear may have cost $2000. Now, with better technology, the same size can be had for $800. Why would I buy your barely used TV for $1000 when I can buy better for less? Most people looking for used tools are looking for deals. Price as you see fit and don’t argue with cheapskates. I delayed getting bags initially and never did get any. No bags. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wonder if a mod could clean up the spam that fell in the nice thread about wood. And this reference to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brand? My Dewalt FV tracksaw has a thumb operated release that has to be toggled forward in order to plunge. It releases a pin from the guard, allowing the plunge. Sometimes it tends to stick a little bit. Cleaning and a squirt of silicone seems to help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

new product / Dewalt 20v DCS367 Max Compact Brushless Reciprocating Saw

Yeah, I was wondering why the compact kept showing up as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I have the FV reciprocating saw, blower and a 20v chainsaw. I use the platform professionally. I also have the Ego chainsaw. My only Ego tool. I think it’s a small battery. It lasts less than 15 minutes of intermittent cutting. Not impressed. For power hungry tools, get whatever you have the most batteries for. With over 200 amp hours (at 20v), I could run my Dewalt chainsaw all day long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just had to post that picture, taken today at Lowe’s. Good news on them trying to make themselves more pro-friendly. They only recently started emailed receipts, which helps me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tstak roller for everyday tools.- circ saw, recip, oscillating tool, drill, impact, etc. 20v cordless. Tstak organizers for fasteners stay in the van. Small Tstaks for each cordless nail gun and its bullets. A few Tstak drawers for hand tools, occasional use cordless tools. 4 Tstak totes for “junk drawers” and for bringing in items to a customers house. All Tstaks, except the roller, are housed in wooden shelves in the back of a 12’ box van. Nailguns or sds drill get stacked on top of the roller and rolled to whatever part of the house I am working on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, you can’t convert a 33* nailer to a 21* nailer. Everything is different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

DeWalt 20 volt framing nailer doesn't sink nothing
Mordekyle replied to Handyhammer86's topic in Dewalt
2 speeds, make sure it’s on speed 2 if sinking 3” nails. Threaded depth gauge in the nose. Spin the barrel, the nose extends or retracts. Loosen it to retract the nose and sink the nails more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
It worked all right repairing subkloor/underlayment in a bathroom yesterday. I hooked it up to a dust extractor to control the sawdust. I think it would also be handy for tile guys. With a concrete cutting blade, You could cut wonder board as well as tile. The dust collection would be very nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Look on eBay for a box for your siding gun. Bostitch box may work. If I’m not mistaken the Dewalt is a rebranded Bostitch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
