  1. So I've decided to invest in the 12v line for both the drill/ impact combo plus I'm eventually gonna get the 12v 16gauge shear. Shear is big reason for me. And the bosch 12v drills are top rated. So I'm selling all my ryobi tools 3 drills and batteries and an older ryobi circular saw to a coworker to fund it. Then I'm gonna choose which brand i wanna invent into for 18v but don't really need 18v especially since I'm usually using a corded drill unless it requires an extention cord simply because I'm lazy lol. Anybody else using the bosch 12v line. How do you like them?
  2. Here's a shipment of signs for Del taco in Gallup NM. Just shipped this morning. Pics are from front of trailer to back. Mounts for monument are made on spot.
  3. Only 8v line there is currently.
  4. This one is both pistol grip and inline. The grip rotates 180 degrees. Best of both worlds.
  5. So i bought the dewalt gyroscopic 8v drill package. On Saturday i installed my security system for the shop. 3 cameras all mounted to metal studs behind drywall and 1 installed into 16 gauge steel bracket on bay door. The drill was used for screwing everything in. Don't have drill bits with quarter inch hex end so regular drill for pre drilling steel. The 8v was light, easy to keep in the back pocket and definately is what i expected. A manual drill turned electric. You can change the clutch to do light screwing like switch plates or put a self tapper into a stud. I also liked that the clutch or whatever it is locks so if you lock the trigger switch you can use it like a regular screwdriver such as when i put a 2 inch screw into pine and needed a lil more to get the screw in(it was a test did better then i thought). Overall i would recommend off first impression. Next step is seeing how it last in a shop but a 3 year warranty is included.
  6. Dewalt dcf681. Drill and debur. Manual screwdriver meet battery. Not sure it will fit your needs but maybe.
  7. Good question... who knows lol. Interesting the brands. Vulcan and diablo hmmmm
  8. This can be a handle and also go straight. It twist. Dewalt DCF680N1
  9. Somewhere in millions maybe hahahahahahaha
  10. So went to lowes(convienence) to replace my auto center punch. See how this one last lol. But since i was in a tool store and have a problem, my name is aaron and im an addict, i bought the 8v dewalt drill. And since the dewalt distributor was there i got a 10% off coupon. 40 minutes later i bought the tool i needed and the tool i was gonna buy on amazon next week. Hopefully the wife doesn't look at the account hahaha.
  11. Alright guys, i welded one up today so here are some pics of how these are done. This is last step I'll show other then finished paint job. Can't give away all my secrets :p. I'll have the next set of pics up in a few days.
  12. I have corded bosch tools and they are all go to tools. I would imagine the cordless are of same quality.
  13. I was thinking about buying a pack of batteries so i could use it camping, at Lake, etc lol. Don't have any cordless tools really but figured bosch would be a good brand if I decide to get some nice drills.
  14. So i purchased the bosch 360c radio and overall is pretty nice. Had trouble with Bluetooth and app but got it figured out. The four outlets are a great idea although 10a max isn't as great but i don't plan on using that function alot. Overall sound quality is preety good although its not as loud with the bluetooth connected.... no idea why. Antenna sucks so i made a loop with solid copper wire and looped it around the metal portion of antenna. 4ft of wire hooked to my bench and now it gets great reception. Reception is so good i know the radio can het too loud for the shop if no equipment is running. Best part is the sound goes everywjere not just foward so everyone is enjoying it. Overall im pleased with the unit. Now its up to time to see how it holds up.
  15. I may be visiting Hawaii before you visit Phoenix though lol
  16. Yupp same cnc. Thing never has problems. And yupp same one featured on sign builder. If you're ever in phoenix lmk
  17. Only reason i bought it was because it has features of the100 dollar bluetooth speakers. Plus the built in charger. Last one didn't last with the dust so hopefully this one does.
  18. Time to buy a new radio. My other one officially lasted 14 months. It was bluetooth which was key factor at initial purchase. It sounds horrible now and looks disgusting. Don't think it was made for a shop lol. So i went ahead and bought the bosch pb306c. If i investment in cordless tools i figured bosch would be a good brand plus I'd have a system ready to go with those future cordless tools lol.
  19. I did 3 sets in a week. Most guys would take 2 weeks just bending. Me 1.5 weeks. Most people 2-2.5 weeks. Machine bends in one day plus 2-3 days assembling. The machine is faster no matter who challenges it lol.
  20. That made me cringe lol. When I was an apprentice i used a journeymans snips to cut plastic strap. "Those are for cutting fucking sheet metal you dumb fuck" believe that was the phrase used. S/m guys will only cut s/m with snips. Unless it's the straight (yellow handle) snips. Those things are garbage anyways lol.
  21. Wiss are the best bang for the buck. 9.87 at HD. They last about 5 to 6 years sometimes more. One bolt loosens at the top of the tool but not a big deal. Mine are currently on year 3.
  22. Your the first to say you wanted it. Ill tell you the price to ship monday.
  23. If i don't have the corded version, I definately don't have the cordless version. That is pretty standard with most guys I know. Although most guys I know are in a shop as well. Few exceptions though.
