  1. You can chance anything and hope for good results. Radial saws were phased out due to better tools being made. They were notorious for kickback and pulling the worker into the blade. I just sold mine after it sat around collecting dust. Only used it for cutting 2x4s. It was dangerous to use and it was made for cutting wood but it was the best option at the time. You could clamp pieces down and ya it would probably work. But when it fails will it be worth the money saved? With the amount of options available is the risk worth the savings? Only you can answer that. I'd say no but i also have the tools i need. Ive done some sketch things to get a job done. Most of us have. Using a tile saw for wood isn't one of those things. I wouldn't recommend using it.
  2. The Milwaukee on the other hand looks like a beast. Use that for the rail road ties to install some spikes. That wood is hard hell with all that oil. And heavy as hell lol. Looks like i have an excuse for a toy: )
  3. Problem with kobalt is the warranty is garbage and the plastic breaks at the neck right above the battery platform. I would never buy kobalt brand again.
  4. I use ryobi one+ impact and the drill. They are fantastic power tools for the price. I have made 1000's using these drills and would recommend to anyone. If it can fall 50' from a crane multiple times and keep going, then it's good. I've seen top brand names break from the same falls. There drills are great. Anything else idk. Don't use any other ryobi tools really. I have a ryobi scroll saw which works great but it's corded. Don't use it much since i have bigger better versions but in the fields it is nice compact tool that gets the job done. I appreciate the cheap ryobi tools and have no problems but i still go brand name with most tools especially corded tools. Kobalt on the other hand is complete garbage. That plastic breaks everytime.
  5. Id go with a used table saw. Not worth the risk to save a little money.
  6. It drove me nuts. I would write this perfect message and little smears everywhere. Son of a b!#*h haha
  7. Penguins fan! Football had too many issues for me to watch. Got tired of all the drug abusers and rapist and murders. I don't support dirt bags or a league that allows for such things without strict firm punishment. Hard to allow kids to watch this crap and have role models that are junkies. I'll watch the super bowl if it works out. Was a steelers fan. Even they are upsetting. There coach is pathetic. The whole league is. Hockey is only good sport left it seems. Baseball is boring to watch on tv and basketball is worse then football. And i really enjoyed basketball. Alright I'm done whining.
  8. After breaking my shoulder rotator cup and not being able to use it, i became ambidextrous. I was a righty. Now I'm both. Can use most all my tools with either hand. Can write with both hands to. But i prefer right hand for writing otherwise my left hand seems to smear my writing. Guess i didn't perfect that haha.
  9. My home depot will price match to online. I argue with them till i get it. "You said you price match, am i at lowes or hd? Should i take my 50000 a year somewhere else? " bam price matched.
  10. Hell ya brother! Only thing better then tools is FAMILY!
  11. Don't usemany mechanic tools besides the basic crap. This is one thing i believe anyone that works on a car knows though lol. Worth the try though right.
  12. I use wiss. Only problem they have is one nit loosens. Easy fix. I get 6 to 7 years out of each pair. 14 bucks. Midwest are about serial in my opinion. Malco are nicer. Any others are probably junk. Regardless they will replaced eventually. Nature of the game.
  13. That's the old ryobi i had. I sold it to the green guy in the picture. He needed a drill and i had a old one for 10 bucks. 10 years old and still going. Currently have two one+ drills. Don't have many battery tools as of yet. Will probably get into a better brand if i ever need more them an impact.
  14. Bought a roper whitney model 99 which is a great lil break. Highly recommend it. And some office security cameras.

  19. 1/8 of a mile or 10 chains. An acre is 10 chains too i think.
  20. Really depends. I'll buy used anything sometimes depends on who is selling. Large machinery etc I'll buy used if I'm able to make sure everything is in working order. I won't buy abused tools, I take pride in my tools. I expect the seller to be same way. Never afraid to say no if something is off. Or offer a lower price. Used tools is a very grey area.
  21. Are we talking about boats and hoes or hard wood... wait. What?
