  1. Malco makes a pretty nice rivet gun as well. Remember when i was an apprentice the journeyman i worked under had a malco and i remember liking it... not enough to buy one though i guess lol.
  2. I buy whatever hd has on shelf. But not the cheapest one lol. They always break every few years if you use heavily. For pneumatic riveter, believe it or not the harbor freight ones are great. They aren't perfect but I've had my current one for 3 years. The one before lasted 6 or 7 years. This time i kept the rebuild kit that comes with it to redo all the seals. I mostly use blind rivets as well.
  3. I have Klein strippers for wiring in ballast and what not but dont do much electrical beyond sign lighting.
  4. Use bosch blades for the jig and they are fantastic. I'm sure any other blades they make would work fine I'm sure. For the jig blades they have tons of selection for different cuts.
  5. Heck ya buddy. That is a nice lil getaway you have there. Bet it stays nice and cool too!
  6. My coffee sits in the microwave half the morning anyways haha. I put it in and forget about it till i need my sip. Cold coffee sucks lol. We have a kuerig in the shop office but i stay away from office until I'm forced inside to do my paperwork. This would be nicer to have sitting under my work bench though. Thanks for info
  7. Hell my ryobi drills all came with 3yr warranties
  8. 215 is a good unit. Get the cart for it with double tank. Makes life easy. Or single tank if you don't do the spool gun. Cart is well worth it though!
  9. Love me some nice ariats! Good win there. Tell us how that oxx works out for you though. Been wondering if they are worth it.
  10. Fancy case means fancy price of course!
  11. Gonna rip it apart and make sure any rosy is gone but it's pretty solid. There's some tlc needed but it's been in az its entire life. So weather hasn't hurt it too bad. It will be fun to do and interesting to watch I'm sure.
  12. Merry Christmas! It seems this is a nice place to chat with like minded tool nuts.
  13. Got a dewalt 12" double compound sliding miter saw. A cobra power inverter. Cologne. And some gift cards. Good Christmas and all the kids were happy.
  14. I will. Something I've been planning since i can remember haha. It will eventually be a nice show piece/ hunting rig.
  15. Love my dewalt grinder. Is that one 11000 or 12000 rpms? I have one that style thats 11000 and another one thats 12000. Found that interesting. Clean tools are happy tools.
  16. My dad bought this when i was young and gave it to me a few years ago. Gonna start on it in the next year or two. Time has not been on my side since recieving it lol. 1964 jeep Willie's hard top and soft top. Have original rims for it and spare tire mount which aren't pictured. 35000 original miles as well.
  17. That's pretty nice work man. Learning the cnc machines my self. Experimenting is always fun but damn those bits are expensive! Lol
  18. Klingspor or united abrasives are the two brands i use for sheets.
  19. I build signs shipped all across North and south America. Used to deal with steel alot and aluminum but now it's mostly all aluminum and some steel. Industry has changed alot in last 20 years. Welding, soldering, brazing, torch and plasma cutters. As for welding mostly use millermatic 210 with aluminum spool gun. Have a miller and a Lincoln arc welder as well. Both excellent brands.
  20. I have a set of Irwin countersink bits from hd. They work fine for me just have to use at low rpm to avoid the skipping so a variable speed trigger is necessary when using them.
  21. Beginner welder... buy an arc welder. Learn it then move to mig. You'll thank me later. As far as brands go, choose what's in your budget.
