Well I use the 60v or 20v circular saw on any framing. I never cut 2x material on the miter saw except for Fascia, casings, etc Finish work I break out the 790 to a central ideal location. And cut Door Casings, Baseboard, Crown Moulding, Chair etc all on that one saw. Sometimes I may not need the capacity with smaller material But I do need the Dual Miter and Dual Bevel.

I shot approx 30,000 Nails before the gun became inoperable, jam, no sink, jam, etc. Took to Dewalt out of Warranty Paid 99.99 Tune-Up fee and had about 7 parts replaced and the gun rebuild. 4 weeks later after the wait on parts back in action 5,000 nails in and no issues.

If it's worth bringing out the miter saw in my opinion it's worth bringing out the big boy and the 790 w/stand is unmatched.

I would just put a 9ah on each truck.

Thanks for clearing that up. Im happy to see more selection as I'm sure some have been asking for this. Me personally I'll stick with the 16g XR20v and maybe pick up the brad when it drops for corner work with mouldings.

I totally disagree Dewalt has the best measuring tapes out. I can't believe you threw the tape in the woods like it was junk. I'd love to see a picture of your tools I'm guessing that a majority of your gear could probably be thrown in the woods. I have been using their tapes for 2 years I think you just don't understand how to use it. The tape isn't designed to be tilted while pulling for a measurement. That's why the blade hook has large wings on the sides. The tape should be held level while pulling a measurement once you hook the wing to the workpiece you can pull the tension and roll/tilt the tape to better view the measurement. Having used this for 2 years I am very efficient with this method I couldn't go back to any other tape. Also you need the one with the black overmold. Dwht33924. It's a little more expensive but worth every penny. Most likely you bought the cheaper yellow one and threw a fit. Stop looking at the price tag. If I send you my measuring tape right now and a 20 min instructional video I can guarantee you wouldn't use anything else in the field. If it was the cheap yellow tape you launched leave it and learn your lesson. If it was the Black one get your ass in the woods I realize I was a little harsh in the beginning of this statement. But you did throw a dewalt in the woods and come to a Dewalt forum to tell us.

There is nothing like a fresh blade. As a Contractor in the field a blade isn't measured by the runtime on a specific tool rather the amount of times a blade can be used before loosing its (fresh butter cut) feel. Both blades Flexvolt and diablo brand new on a circular Saw will be equally desired by the men in the feel as long as the blades are new. Now which blade will be purchased again is most likely the diablo for its ability to stay sharp and fresh longer. When in the isle searching for a new blade the last thing in your mind is runtime the first is longevity.

So I did a little research. Makita already has a Cordless Vac that looks like a Festool Vac. Works off 2 18v batteries. Dewalt needs to trump that with the 120v Cordless Festool style Vac

I have 4 Flexvolts and 10 or so 20v and I don't notice any difference in removal. Then again I strong arm my tools while my wife can't get any battery off a tool to save her life I do not have the 60v Recip so I can't comment on that but I would think you could do some testing yourself to find the root of the problem. Be it a specific battery, multiple batteries with same issue, or Tool bay causing issue. From what you described seems to be some crud in the Battery bays railing on the tool itself. Try cleaning the railing and possibly running a small amount of light oil(gun oil) on a clean rag and running the tracks with that.

I just want something more than the ability to raise my Saw off the ground. Back in my Ryobi table saw days it came with the same simple Sissor stand and I never used it. BTW nice setup. I use something similar but i forget to turn on the dust system at least every 3 cuts.

To Hear Dewalt isn't repairing tough system with its lifetime guarantee and charging for parts is very disappointing. A quick story... Purchased a Ruger AR15 a couple years ago had an issue a few months ago where the gun needed to be send in to Ruger. Only info I had was the serial number on the rifle. They send me a pre paid box to shop the rifle overnight to them(free). Repaired, and cleaned the rifle to show room condition, included a bunch of goodies( cleaning rags, stickers, magazine) then shipped in back to me overnight the next day (free). Got gun back and didn't even recognize it looked brand new. Never asked for credit card and never charged me a cent. What brand of guns do you think I will purchase for the rest of my life ? And to top it off Ruger doesn't have a written warranty they just stand behind their products
