olletsocmit
Am I the only one that has noticed this? This is the second time I have seen a post about bigger M18 batteries. I thought my 5.0 batteries that came with my fuel set were huge -- Link: http://bit.ly/1OgbLJz
kruton
Yeah, I think they have been talking about them for a bit now. I'm not a Milwaukee cordless guy so I'm not sure if they are releasing yet. Some of the other guys will know. They look like some monsters though! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
JerryNY
I might be wrong but I think XC, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 are all identical externally save for the markings. That photo you posted has a skewed perspective which makes them look a little different. The forthcoming 9.0 has an extra row of cells and will be significantly larger, fine for things like a mitersaw that sits in one place. I read somewhere the 6.0 and 9.0 will be available later this summer...
DaveJr.
Can't wait until DeWalt comes out with some larger capacity batteries.
DR99
The XC through 6.0 Ah packs should be the same size for the most part. Milwaukee might have added a little move rubber over mold but nothing that drastic.

kruton
You can also use that giant battery pack to ward off muggers! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

olletsocmit
Yea I have all 5.0 battery's right now. They seem to be plenty big enough and long lasting for me.
Bremon
The batteries in the OP picture are all the same size...the perspective is skewed. The new 9.0s will be bigger (if they ever get released).
olletsocmit
the 6.0 and 9.0 batteries were supposed to be out in stores January 2016 from what i have read and the video's ....wtf is going on?
khariV
the 6.0 and 9.0 batteries were supposed to be out in stores January 2016 from what i have read and the video's ....wtf is going on? The 9.0s were intended to support the new SDS Max rotary hammer. The hammer hasn't made it out of the gates so that's why I'm guessing that the 9.0s are still awol. Verktools
Here in Norway the SDS Max rotary hammer (with 9.0 ah) have been on the market for a 1 month. Hopefully its possible to buy only the batteries soon. SDS Max w/9.0 ah batt. "sale" priced for around 10.000 NKR which is about $1220

But Milwaukee has started to get more and more popular here, so hopefully that will change.
jeffmcmillan
So that would put it at about 610 USD? If it's all they claim that's a pretty fair price.
olletsocmit
Why the heck do dither countries get the tools first? It's weird ...since they are a US company
