I'd disassemble the joint if it's imperative to use the jig or else I would just make a new jig without attaching it to the router base so you can route into the corners. Kind of hard to give you an intelligent answer though without seeing exactly what your trying to do, can you draw something up or move the router and jig aside?

Ahha I get it now!

I would move you fence to the outside of the frame, nothing will get in your way then.

Then adjust the guide fence to keep routing where you left off
