comp56
So does this translate to better battery shelf life in power tools as well by removing when not in use for extended periods of time?.... you thoughts.....
Foneguy
Very interesting !!!! Who would have thought I am ahead of the game ... I guess it's just my OCD. But I never store anything with batteries left in, unless it's a project and the drill or whatever is just sitting for a couple of days. All of my "yellow" batteries sit on top of tool box, and tool tucked away in a drawer when not in use. multimeters, stud finders etc..... Batteries pulled out and left next to it. I learned my lesson the hard way. It is a lot quicker and easier to install a battery than to take apart and clean an exploded one.
