I have the DW717 (maybe not for long after seeing the new Milwaukee and FlexVolt offerings!) and I've purchased a 60 tooth Diablo blade with 30mm arbor. I bought some reducing rings but no matter what I do I can seem to get it to work properly. Even after tightening the bolt as much as I can I still get some wobble from the blade. The arbor section is stepped slightly which means that the part which the lock nut goes through doesn't tighten down onto the blade enough. (If that makes sense)

Anyone else have this issue? Do I need to stick to Dewalt only blades with 16mm arbor?

Usually there's a washer that goes over the blade and the bolt tightens down on that which gives more surface area to press against the blade and keep it tight and flat.

Can you spin the blade freely by hand when it's tightened down?
