Tx_woodworker Posted October 22, 2016 Report Posted October 22, 2016 Has anybody tried this? http://www.rockler.com/rockler-t-track-table-top I was thinking about making one just like this. Sure is tempting.
Nordraw Posted October 23, 2016 Report Posted October 23, 2016 Glad to see you are making your own. That is a high price for what looks like a simple build. Go for it. 1
KnarlyCarl Posted October 23, 2016 Report Posted October 23, 2016 I have used the tracks and the clamps to make my own setup, they are very nice tracks and clamps
rrmccabe Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 Be a fun and easy project and save a lot of money. For me personally I have found that buying machine thread T nuts and using small machine screws in the track is a better option that just screwing the track down with wood screws. Both work but I have lifted the track on more than one occasion and have switched to T Nuts on everything I build. 1

I haven't lifted any screws on what I have done yet, but that has always been a concern of mine. That is also a reason I went with a bench dog option for my work table over a t-track system. 1
