Used my 1/4 shank makita router the other day and man is she a beast ? thing i hate about routers is the make a mess from hell lol and is about time for some new router bits a i set off all the smoke alarms in the house twice lol

When I first got into routing I bought the better quality 36 piece set from Grizzly.

It gave me a great start up assortment and I really had no idea what my needs would be at that point. I use Ogees, roundovers, and rabbiting bits by far the most, but have used about all of them here and there. 

 

They aren't bad. They've all held up well and I haven't had to replace any of them yet. I'm gonna say I use a router 10-12 times a year, so I'm not using them daily or even weekly, but I'd buy them again.
