Air hose reel

anyone have any experience with the TEKTON 50 ft. x 3/8 in. I.D. Dual Arm Auto Rewind Air Hose Reel

or does anyone have any recommendations on a retractable air hose reel?

Not directly. I have the Harbor Freight single armed reel. The reel is great, but the hose died after a year, so I replaced it with the Tekton hose and it's been great ever since.

 

I like the dual armed version and if the one I have ever dies, that's probably the one I'd get. My experience with Tekton has always been positive and the dual armed reel would be worth the extra $30 or so to me.

Tekton sells great budget tools, they even have some us made pliers

Don't have any experience with the auto retract model but I do have the 100' manual retract reel. It works great for what it is but I really wish I just bought an auto retract version. Planning on buying the Harbor Freight one today actually!

I have the husky auto retract reel and love it. basically a flexzilla.

I bought my FIL the same reel for Christmas. Glad it's no a piece of shit.

had it for at least a year now, hasnt given me any issues. the hybrid hose is great and pliable

I gave up on reels, just coil hose as needed. LOVE my flexible !!

I agree with Foneguy. I have used reels, but have always been happier paying more for really good hose and just coiling it on a wall hanger. Your milage may vary depending on the situation.

There's a tekton one image shed I've been meaning to mount on my pickup, but haven't had a chance in this weather or with ? in the field and ??.
