Conductor562
If you guy haven't seen the news in a year or so, let me be the first to tell you, times in WV are hard. Seems everyone is struggling to get by. Apparently the struggle doesn't end when you die.....

DR99
We had a news report about people doing natural burials. Simple pine caskets no crazy embalming like funeral homes try to push. The death economy is crazy profitable there was a video about how mortuary sales people push you hard to spend on fancy caskets and shit. They play on that guild complex hard. They play the whole well they should be comfortable for eternity. If I die cremate me and do something awesome with them. I wanna do a viking funeral on the great lakes but i think the coast guard might not approve.
BMack37
I tell everyone that when I die I just want them to dump my body in a dumpster. It's too expensive to die anymore.

Stercorarius
I feel bad for the dude doing the repossessing. I've handled my share of couple month old bodies (not human) and his or her job has to stink. I don't know at what point they make the repossession call but at some point you'd be pumping ooze that looks like maggoty chocolate pudding out of the bottom of those boxes. Casket wax anyone?

Conductor562
I hate funerals and would prefer not to have one. I hate the thought of anyone's last memory of me being up there in a casket. Plus I have family in the funeral business and know how gruesome the embalming process is. My dad has some horror stories from when he drove an Ambulance/Hearse for them back before we had County Ambulance Service and the Ambulance was operated by the funeral home. Talk about a conflict of interest ?

CATERPILLAR
Is that casket repo a real business or a joke that is fucked up what kind of heartless piece of Low life shit would dig someone up to make a buck

There is a lengthy legal process to digging up a body and I'm pretty confident "outstanding balance" isn't going to be sufficient

Not a whole lot of people volunteering for the job either I would imagine. Plus they're in a concrete box so you don't have to worry about nicking anything.

I don't remember all the details, but when my grandpa passed in 03, I remember hearing that his casket was over $6,000. I don't remember if Uncle Sam payed for that or not. He was a WW2 vet. Hugh Jass
Elisha Cuthbert blows them both out of the water. Also she literally played The Girl Next Door.
Stercorarius
She can't sing though, and I'm not about to move to Canada for Elisha. Plus my divorce settlement from Taylor is going to buy me so much proto.
Stercorarius
Also the oddest thread to have this debate in, but it's TIA so I guess it's what we should expect.

I was about to say, this seems a little distracted and off topic, but not atypical of TIA here lol
