HiltiWpg
Seriously cool video, he cuts a window into the cowl to catch the hammer and anvil on a high speed cam!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
HiltiWpg
Man, tough crowd. I thought some of you guys would get a kick out of seeing an impact working in super slow-mo!Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk 2

Tools & Stuff
And he says he is going to keep the Makita... I wonder how he is going to cover the holes back up?
HiltiWpg
I am sure he would just purchase a new cowl. Gotta love Makita, every part is $10-$20!Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
DR99
Makita seems to put out the best impact drivers regarding size and power. That old brushed Milwaukee looks huge!!

Im dubious whether (for my limited uses) the Green one is worth the extra dinero over the Red one... It is a sweet tool, though...

I had the Gen 2 M18 Fuel and it's alright if you never use anything else. I found it heavy, clunky, poorly balanced and loud. Very whiney too.The Makita is so much smoother, feels great in the hand isn't nearly as loud. The balance is awesome. I really enjoy using it.If acoustics are important, oil impulse is tough to beat. Makita or Milwaukee. If you want amazing torque in a super compact design, you won't be disappointed with the Teal.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hugh Jass
That was pretty cool, always wondered what was going on inside of impacts. Taken a few regular drills apart for shits and giggles, the planetary system in Dewalt's hammer drills is more complicated than a modern automatic car transmission. Never seen so many little gears before.

Not sure how it compares to the Milwaukee.
DR99
I think the hydro makita is pretty bulky
HiltiWpg
I think the hydro makita is pretty bulkyIt's 3/8" longer than the Surge and 3.2 lbs WITH a battery. The Surge is 2.3lbs without a battery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
