Sparkyman Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 Hello all, Ive tried searching this but to no avail. I’m looking at purchasing a metabo triple hammer impact. It comes with the 36v multivoltage battery, but no charger. If I had an 18v charger would that work or do I need the other one? I know it seems like a dumb question but I’m trying to save a couple bucks if I can and am new to the metabo/hitachi/hikoki platform. Thanks in advance!
Eric - TIA Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 We are charging ours with an 18V charger. The battery says 36V -18V. We haven't had any issues with it and it always charges greats
boonez40 Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 Welcome to the neighborhood. Yes the 18 volt charger will work, just take a little longer to charge than a dedicated 36 volt. If you are buying a new tool, make sure you go the the metabo rebate website and submit your info for either a free battery or the ac adapter to run on 120 volt. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
