Altan
Would you prefer to get an insert foam for your tools or a plastic insert? These are from DeWALT Toughsystem boxes.
wingless
The molded plastic is more durable and easier to clean. Both are fine. My DeWALT DCS355 OMT included a bag and I wanted a box, so I used Kaisen foam to design a custom case storage. It has been fine for years.

Altan
I just don't understand why DeWALT does not make proper inserts for Toughsystem boxes.

Yes, you are right, the molded plastic is more durable and easier to clean, plus I always feel small particles of foam always floats in the air and we breathe them. If you touch the DeWALT insert foams in direct sun light you can see small particles floating around.
