Michelin
I have a Bosch gop 18v cordless and brushless multi tool which has served me well but I’ve seen the new Makita DTM 52 and I was wondering is it worth upgrading to the Makita Has anyone tried both machines 👍
fyrfytr998
Without sounding cheeky. Are you already on multiple battery platforms? Or are you looking for a reason to ditch Bosch in favor of Makita?

I would suggest you to wait a few months so you can get a Fein Multi Tool which will work with Bosch batteries, Fein is great quality and are made in Germany. The accessory range of Fein Multi tool is great also. They would be compatible with Makita and Bosch ones also. Fein and Bosch are in a battery alliance now, and 11 brands by now announced they will use Bosch batteries including Fein, Wagner and Klauke. Brands like Makita and DeWALT make their multi tools in China or Mexico.
