If I am reading this diagram correctly for your model drill. You might have bought the wrong part. Lower end drills tend to use encapsulated motors that do not lend themselves to repair. The brushes are inside the motor unit. You can however buy a whole new motor unit and have a fresh drill.

I had the same issue with my old Porter Cable brushed tools. More prominent makers like DeWalt and Makita make models you can repair.

 

OR......you can modernize and buy a Brushless model. They really aren't all that expensive any more. And you'll never have to replace a brush EVER.
