Altan
A few days ago I found screwdriver bits from an American brand called Mayhew Tools. Interestingly they have lots of American made screwdriver bits, quite a good range. is this brand a well known brand in the US? How old is this brand? And are their bits easily available everywhere in the US? Here is a PDF catalogue of their bits. Mayhew Bit Final.pdf
fm2176
I forgot all about Mayhew. I think that Home Depot used to carry their stuff in store but I haven't seen them in any store recently, though they are available on the HD site, including a couple of socket bit sets. According to their info page, Mayhew was founded in 1856 and is the oldest punch and chisel manufacturer here in the States.

I have not seen any other company making 11/64" and 9/32" of hexagonal tip in 2" length not even in 1" length, and they are USA made.
