cyclone700 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Went to use my 20V max drill and battery was dead. LED blinked when I pulled the trigger. I put it on the charger and the light does not light up at all. I did charge a 12v and a 20v battery and it worked fine. I don't use it very often and it's maybe been charged 4 or 5 times in year and a half. Anybody else have this problem? How long was the battery warranty on the 20V max batteries?
kjones Posted August 25, 2013 Report Posted August 25, 2013 Warranty is 2 years for the compact and 3 for the full size. Warranty exchange it.
kyleatusa Posted August 31, 2013 Report Posted August 31, 2013 Same problem as the first poster, I have bought Dewalt for a long time, moved to the 20v Impact March 2013 and both the batteries I got in the kit will charge to one bar and that is it. How do I return these? Thanks, seriously considering a different manufacture, bummed
cyclone700 Posted September 1, 2013 Author Report Posted September 1, 2013 I contacted Dewalt customer service and gave them a number off the battery and they are shipping me a new battery. I will follow up when I get the new battery.
cyclone700 Posted September 6, 2013 Author Report Posted September 6, 2013 Just received the replacement battery and got the new one with the fuel gauge. Hopefully this lasts a little longer than the first. Thanks Dewalt for taking care of it.
