Who wants to take bets that Tool Box Buzz updates their review on the Dewalt wall scanner.

I was wondering what was going on with the story of that tool. It was only on sale for a short period of time got horrible reviews and Dewalt silently recalled them a short time later. Yea it disappeared DR, I would have been cool if it worked I wanted to buy it but just kept seeing so many bad reviews on it

I only saw a few reviews where they mentioned that it worked. I don't know if they were gamed reviews, they were done on simple walls with the best conditions to get it to read everything, or they got units that worked correctly. I really wonder which one of those choices is what really happened. I'm going to go with the few good reviews were gamed not even by SBD it could just be the really hard core Dewalt fans. Every brand makes a bum tool every so often. I know one guy that posted here had zero luck with the Milwaukee M12 hammervac.

I commend Dewalt for doing the right thing, and it isn't like the Milwaukee is spectacular.

TBB really goofed when they named it a "tool of the year".
