Mikevango
They are a good value. I have had one for a couple years and it works good. I don't use it everyday though. Maybe once a week or less. The hose is shitty and is the weak point. I still use the original hose but it is getting cracky. I will put a flexzillA or similar on when it fails. For the price I recommend it.
BIGBEARJT
haha last day for sale, through email coupon, $30 off. but im going mount it to my air compressor which has a folding handle top part which holds a hose. but with this should make it an awesome wheeled air beast. madman_us
$30 off is awesome
Mikevango
Did you get the reel? I think it usually is on sale for $69.99. I don't know about mounting it to your compressor. It will probably pull your compressor over or you'll be dragging it when your pulling out the hose. What kind of compressor is it?
RickyMcGrath
$69 for a Kobalt one at lowes. Lifetime warranty.
madman_us
the one from kobalt has some pretty bad reviews - 1.8 / 5 stars
BIGBEARJT
I have makita mac5200 compressor, just finished fixing her up, new oil, new filter, new pressure switch. runs smooth now. im gonna attach the air hose on mine like this guy did with his mac2400, he just attached it onto a hand truck, my mac5200 already is built like a hand truck. so just slap the hose reel with a mount on front bam, think it will work great as the compressor is pretty heavy and wide doubt it will roll over. could also put it on the back side, as the handles on the mac5200 fold down flat onto itself, which i think it will be the way to go. chadlanthier
Cool set up, just checked back upto $89. It's funny I was just looking at my balled up hose and wishing I had bought one on a real.
madman_us
ya 89 is the normal price at HF, but you get lots of 20% off coupons via mail or email. like chad already mentioned - nice set up. I like it too
Mikevango
Looks like a great idea, but it think you are going to have to hold the compressor with your foot as you pull out the hose. Good luck.
RickyMcGrath
Northern tool has one for $69 with 4.5/5 stars. http://m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_384659_384659

Fazzman
Thats a awesome idea man,as for wheels I wonder if some solid type of wheel barrow wheels could be made to fit with a custom axle or something.
Conductor562
I have this hose. The hose itself is the chintzy rubber you expect from HF, but the reel works good. When the hose dies I've got a Tekton composite hose begging to be mounted up
