RickyMcGrath
What is the fuss about..? The price? For a trim carpenter working out of a truck, this would be fantastic. The price is outrageous though. But considering it's two tools in one, it's not far off.
DR99
It's European pricing though tools in general are a lot more money over there.

Kenneth Denmark
For a trim carpenter working out of a truck, this would be fantastic. The price is outrageous though. But considering it's two tools in one, it's not far off.Let me start to say it is sold for about 450 - 500£ in Denmark, do we sell a lot of those.. Nope! ..But why?.. Well.. For about 5 years ago we did, but now the most costumer have a miltersaw and and will rather buy a tablesaw (dw745) then buying the combi saw. The tablesaw is more accurate and not so heavy to move around. And some history about it is actually a old ELU product I still see them a round workshops https://d2lbrjk5lrhj5y.cloudfront.net/typo3temp/surplex/article/44/11/ELU_TGS_173_Chop_Saw_4411361940700.jpgIn 1994, DeWalt took over the German wood working power tool producer ELU
Samuel L.
I feel like a lot of people would love one of these but I feel like they don't conform to US safety policies so they don't sell them in north america.
BIGBEARJT
now make it 3 saws in one, table saw, miter saw, and circular saw and i will be impressed and throw money at it until i get one.
chadlanthier
I seen that one from Bosch before. They look pretty cool, but I think they would be limited.

regopit
I don't care who makes it but, when you make a combo tool one of the tools will suffer. Lack of power, ease of use, accuratice you will lose something along the way. Call me a old timer but I prefer a tool for one specific job. When I see stuff like this I think Harbor Freight.
