madman_us
ya the info on that page is weird. it also says your planer runs with 32.000 rpm
comp56
wow did I ever get a deal, the only thing the K at end of model is it comes with case/bag as a kit...... KPO800KIncludes:Blade gauge assembly (123062-2), Wrench (782209-3), Guide rule (165581-2), Blade set (D-16966), Tool case (824892-1) KPO800 INCLUDES: 3-1/4" Double Edged Mini Planer Blades (D-16966), Blade Gauge Assembly (123010-1), Socket Wrench 9 (782209-3), Guide Rule (165581-2) so I guess they thought the case or bag was missing and yet it wasn't even suppose to be there....woot.... madman_us
i would def say that you got a deal there, because the label on your planer tells you all the details you need.the page is just off what they put on there.

Conductor562
I've considered a hand planet several times, but just never went through with it. Hand planers are the first power tool Makita produced way back when
NERemodeling
Nice find and even nicer planer. I love portable power planers.. I use them for everything from planing out of wack framing to finish work.. I'm considering adding the cordless Makita to my arsenal. kornomaniac
The cordless is very decent Same results as the KP0800 and quite long enough runtime. Review by Oz tool talk
