DPSElias
I am looking at 2 SDS drills HD has on sale: Bosch 11255SVR: $179 Makita HR2621 (this includes a free grinder): $199 have 10% off coupon ~$179 Can anyone give any information on these drills? I am looking for one to use the hundreds of Hilti SDS bits I have and to take up a tile floor in the near future. I like the Makita deal as free tools are always nice, but I hear Bosch make really good Rotary hammer drills, if funds weren't an issue it would be Hilti without question. Thanks in advance-D
DR99
You can get the Makita for $149 without the grinder on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Makita-HR2621-Rotary-Hammer-D-Handle/dp/B00I30LAFSYou can't go wrong with either SDS really they Bosch hits a little bit harder but like .1 of a pound so nothing that matters really. So the free grinder or cheaper price sounds like the better option to me at least. Also who has the better warranty.

Punda1991
I own the Makita, the grinder is a huge plus in my eyes. As for the drill itself, it kicks ass. Has plenty of power and the chipper works great. It does get warm when chipping for extended periods of time but Thats normal

Fazzman
The Bosch also works awesome with a chisel bit. It easily takes out tile.
