DR99
I was going to post this on the main page but its kind of an embarrassment the prices seem to be normal prices or at best 10 dollars off normal prices. http://www.homedepot.com/b/Featured-Products-Q1-Pro-Event/N-5yc1vZcawuAm I wrong in saying there isn't really a deal to be had with this offer?
Bigmikez
Now UR not wrong at all DR I got that same email and saw that they've been the same price b4 this supposed pro deal I thought the makita gold bits were gonna be even cheaper but there that price everyday... DR99
I think the Dewalt drill and impact kit was actually on the expensive side I though I saw it cheaper elsewhere. I also thought the M12 drill was $99 for the longest time? Some of the other items don't even list a discount! You better off with a free battery/baretool deal! ChrisK
I chuckled and hit the trash can tab on my 6+ while belting out a round of nirvana and slapping my be-hotch mag into my 20v nail gun while wearing my hat flat brimmed and sideways looking at my home girl in da mirra
ChrisK
Wooops!!!! Sorry I went all gang land on HD. Seriously that was a crap deal and was deeply offended at the email. I may have cried a little but I won't admit to it;)

ChrisK
I like the $99 3.0 amp battery. That's the same price it was four years ago.

Nordraw
Have to really be patient to get a deal at Home Depot. Lucky too. Kind of being there at the right time.
DR99
The HD deal of the day's can be pretty awesome and sometimes the pro deal of the week is good but this thing is a huge wtf. Lowes is kinda lame when it comes to deals for the most part. Also the fact they don't stock Milwaukee hurts my interest in buying tools from them. DPSElias
Does lowes even do deals? if they do they are a lot harder to find, I agree about these "deals" they aren't much of a deal, I was looking at that Makita combo SDS grinder last week and the price is the same. The HD Deal of the Day is where it's at, some days I am kicking myself for not jumping on them but they also help drain the wallet.... DR99
Lowes did a deal of the day for a short period of time but didn't continue it. It lasted like 3/4 months a year or two ago.
ChrisK
I haven't seen Lowes do any in a long time. Not sure what's going on over there.
DR99
Lowes is kinda lost at the moment they can't decide if they are a place where builders ship or all about interior design. They also need to promote a tool brand harder Home Depot has better exclusive brands for the most part and better deals with free tools and such. chadlanthier
They will find a sucker who thinks its a great deal. Mark up and then mark it down and call it a great deal. All the same.

Brien
The HD pro deal is a joke. I'm so pissed I didn't jump on the toolnut Dewalt 5.0 battery deal. Now that was a real deal.
DR99
The only thing I would buy on that entire page would be the Dewalt max fit bit set that's not a horrible deal.
ChrisK
The Makita impact bits would be mine but they are regular price.
