Justin Hernandez
Price is a little high, the 2 pack of 4.0ah is justifiable. But the question is are they worth the extra cost?

austinthecity
While the BT battery is interesting, I think BT tool control would be more useful. I wonder if milwaukee snagged that patent and dealt was left with battery. Maybe that's what one key is.

Some speculation is that tools will allow for BlueTooth to literally program the tool for different settings. A customization of tools. Justin Hernandez
I guess we have to wait for the Milwaukee video at the end of the week to find out
Hugh Jass
To me this should be a natural evolution of the units. Just phase out the regular batteries and introduce these for the same price and stop the rape. Yea production is more expensive but I bet it's dollars which would well be exceeded by the increase in sales with kits. Charging people more for something "neat" is historically a letdown in the marketplace. Dewalt will get destroyed by Milwaukee's new program for anyone who is really serious about these features, they'll be getting a WHOLE lot more bang for their buck.
