Yeah, the one thing I do like it for is putting a cutout bit in and using the guide it comes with and using it to cut out circles for speakers as I get a better edge than with my jigsaw. I picked up some stuff online. Here are the Knipex pliers in their drawer. Knipex Round Jaw Long Nosed Pliers: I really like made in germany and these should really help with hoses. Knipex Pliers Wrench: I bought these more to see how the concept worked more than anything else. Feel solid. I'll have to see how they work out in real use. The New magnetic trays in their place. The new magnetic pickup tools and magnetic mirrors in their places. They were only a dollar a piece so I figured I might as well. BMack37 Posted March 7, 2016 Report Share Posted March 7, 2016 That pair of pliers wrench is the same I bought, they replaced my adjustable wrench in my bag...both seem to have minor advantages as long you have really good adjustable wrench that holds it's position such as Channellock/Irega. Unscrewing a hex head bolt, advantage pliers wrench. If your wife is home, this is where you are going to want to close the door and lock it. I have accumulated some tools since the last time I posted on here. Today I'm going to go over hammers. By go over hammers, I mean dick around with a camera and get frustrated when I realize that my pictures aren't turning out like I want them too and post them to TIA. So anyways here is my complete hammer collection as it currently stands. And the one picture that I had photoshop involved didn't turn out anything like I wanted. Oh well better go back to Kato's tip thread and read it over again. The new hammers are the Yellow Pittsburgh ball pein hammers. They have solid heads, but you can immediately feel that the fiberglass handles are sub par. The graphite is the best feeling hammer I've ever held in my hand by a long shot. I've held some Protos and they just don't feel right. I also grabbed a Pittsburgh dead blow hammer (big orange one). I've heard good things about the pittsburgh dead blows and the finish feels solid. Had this tree come up along the edge of a waste way that the end boom of one of the center pivots runs over and it was ripping the sprinkler drop down hoses out of the goose necks. I ended up not bothering to get a pen light after I realized how useful the led on it was, I keep it on me at all times and pull it out more often to use the flashlight than the detector part. Maybe a bit more so, but not "far more reliable" Mine works every time for what I need, has a bright led, and I can stick it in a receptacle while flipping the breaker in another room and listening to the audible warning.
