M18 contacts Posted July 14, 2019 Report Share Posted July 14, 2019 Hi . My batteries in my M18 impact started moving a while ago and now the contacts are burnt and the shorter outer connectors on the gun don't reach the battery .. and I have to push battery onto contacts to make it work and been told that various other parts have to be changed as it's been updated ...out of warranty so sounds expensive...anyone else had this happen and does anyone know of a fix for it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Locksmith Posted October 27, 2019 Report Share Posted October 27, 2019 Bought m18 twin set today battery slight wobble didn't like it so cured with a bit of draught excuse on the inside rim and edge where the battery connects to the drill mo more wobble perfect fit and still has dampening so vibration is not transferred directly to the battery when operating Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Zack Posted January 6, 2021 Report Share Posted January 6, 2021 I am facing this issue too. Just received a 1/2 mid torque and the battery definitely has some play/movement. Is this normal?
