Interesting ideas. As usual, I dropped the ball on giveaways. We had some giveaways planned for the forum but got to caught up in the new website design. What do you guys think about merging the two for now? If it gets bad we can take the next step. I can also let new people see the thread but if you like we can stop them from posting in there until they get 15 posts or something along that line.

I think they do with the new update but I am waiting to install since last time it took down Tapatalk. For now, it's just all activity. If the logo is bright blue, you know there is something new. I will keep you up to date.

Good points. Will have to figure this one out. Not sure about bringing back the UTBG. Over the last couple of years, we wanted to spread the tools around instead of one person getting everything.

Here is the tricky thing. We want to reward the real users in the forum, but we also want to attract new people who might be cool and contribute to the forum. Merging them would be great to keep things easy. Just have to decide if we should hide it from new people where they only come on once or twice to chime in to win but never contribute. Let me know.

Wow one year! That's sucks. I guess you're right about the abuse.

I use the DCLB720 and agree it's a pretty good blower. Haven't used the hedge trimmers very much, but I know Dan uses the string trimmer and hedger and like the hedger. For a tool brand OPE I am more of a fan of the Makita OPE but I haven't tried their hedge trimmers so i really can't comment on those.

OK we set up the new category. If anyone has problems posting let me know. There are a ton of rules I have to configure and hopefully, I did it right.

"Test & Measurement" is what you guys want? I can put it under the Tool category. If you think it will get enough traction and followership I can include it. Let me run it past the mods and get their input also.

OK, it looks like Tapatalk is resolved and they released an update which now works with this version of IPBoard. Sorry it took so long but thanks for being patient.

It's going but not the way we want it to. Tapatalk knows there is an issue with their software and the new update of everyone using IPBoard but they have been slow to fix the issue. I wish I had more information but they don't get back to us. The only thing I can relay at this time is what they posted on their forum is that they know there is an issue and they are working on it. The only thing I could suggest right now is try our mobile version for now. The new mobile version works nice, but I know that isn't what everyone wants to hear right now. I am sorry guys wish this wasn't happening. but I will keep you posted if I hear anything.

From the picture, it's hard to tell the issue. Might be a dumb question, but are your sure the plastic isn't broken where the knob sits against the metal rod? Does the metal rod turn easily without the rod? I don't think these radios have been out longer than 5 years and if that's the case, it's still under factory warranty. I am a Paslode fan. I know it takes gas but just seems like it more powerful and more consistent compared to battery only nailers. For battery only nailers, I still love the Dewalt finish.

I don't think so. I think for anything trademarked it's illegal if you don't have permission. But I failed out of law school. Well, not really but if I did go i am sure I would have lasted about a day.

Interesting, I don't think I have tried one or at least I didn't know it at the time. I was just talking with someone yesterday about this. They asked if anyone makes a blade that will last more than 20 seconds. This is good to know because the only blade I really like is the Bosch but again they don't have a long life span for the cost.
