Awesome, we will leave it as is. Thanks for setting it straight. I have to admit, I have never been to Garage Journal. I have had a lot of people tell me it's not to friendly. I get enough people being a**holes to me in everyday life walking around. I don't need another beat down online. Again I have never been over there, just from what people have told me.

I know Dan bought a new modem because he was tired of renting it and spending the money. As far as I know he likes it. I know you have to call them and tell them to take their modem and shove it up their a** and stop charging ridiculous fees.

Sorry about the late response. I am going through the update right now. Are you guys still having a problem? You can set your notifications if you go to the top of this page and click on the bell. A window will pop up and on the top right, you can click on notifications settings. You will go to a page like Jimbo posted. Let me know. if you are still having problems. My phone is blowing up from Tapatalk. I just haven't messed with any of the setting on that yet because I just want to make sure the upgrade is going OK. Keep me posted and can change what you guys need.

I really don't have many options on the backend for chat. I opened up a ticket and will see what they say. I know chat isn't a big part of what IP does, so it may just be a limited software. Hopefully they get back to me with a work around.

I might have to go in and figure out why they didn't link. I can see them on the backend, but some don't show that they are associated with anything. I might have to go in an manually add them. I hope not.

Do you mean the oldest content first? If so I think I fixed this. If you click on unread content, it should now show the oldest unread content first. Let me know if this is working on your side.

Great question. I looked through the tapatalk install and don't see any options for this. I just submitted a ticket to tapatalk because i researched and couldn't find out any info. Once I hear back i will let you know.

FYI for chat. I see there were errors with the chat and only let 5 people in at once. It should be fixed now to let more people in. If for some reason you guys are still getting errors with only 5 people, let me know and I can look into it.

Sorry it took so long, but I believe Tapatalk is back. If you are still having problems, let me know. i was able to sign in and make a post. Thanks for hanging in there while I pulled my hair out and tried to fix it.

We also have member ranks that was set up a long time ago. The forum has grown over the years and think it may need to be updated, but let me know your thoughts before I mess it up. Here is the current ranking system. Rank - Number of Posts Newbie 0 Jr. Member 10 Member 30 Full Member 100 Senior Member 250 Tool Junkie 500 At 500, a member can change their title. Personally I would like different names for ranks and instead of the dots, it would be cool to have a graphic, but just personal preference. We have some members who have a ton of posts. Was thinking about changing when a member can edit their title such as after 1,500 or 2,000 posts, but let me know your thoughts. Also would like to raise the threshold of the other titles. Let me know your thoughts on thresholds and ranking names. If you would rather have a cool little graphic instead of the dots, show me an example of what you want.

It should be public now. There are hundreds of options and they aren't always easy to find. Let me know if you don't see them anymore, but you should be able to see who gave you the likes

You may have noticed the reputation on the right side of a post. We have a couple of different options and just wanted to get everyone feedback. We have a couple of different ways to set it up - See pictures You can see what we currently have, but the other options. Let me know your thoughts if you even want this feature or you really don't care. The top one gives a like and the name who likes it. The other ones are just thumbs up or down, or just positive thumbs up or just negative thumbs

When we upgraded, some of our old custom fields did not transfer over. If you want to update your profile, please go ahead. If you want more fields added, just let me know and I will put them in. Sorry if this messed anyone up with the upgrade. If you do want to add a field, let me know if you want it to show up under your profile or below your name when you post

Thanks for the feedback, but this is about all you guys. I want this forum to be the way you guys want it. Just think about me as your little Bit**. Just tell me what you guys want and I will try to get it done for you. I completely agree on being able to customize your profile page. To me, I would rather know about a person. I would rather have more information, than less. It's up to the user if they want to user all the fields. Thanks for bearing with me while I try to get the forum up to speed.

Sweet, thanks for the feedback about showing the 500, account settings and the others. I am still working on it today and should have a lot done, but some things I have to open up tickets and it takes a while for them to get back to us. Also will fix the new activity so you don't have to scroll down. If we get done with the forum and forget any of this, let me know. I am trying to keep a list, but sometimes I forget stuff. Protool - I know you want account setting enabled, but before you said you wanted to more customization "I'd also appreciate more flexability in profile editing. I am one of those members who loves to have a profile and customise it how they want it. Cause as we all know, some people checkout our awesome profiles, and the more awesome we can make them, the more awesome we feel about ourselves." If there are fields or stuff you want me to add, let me know.
