LOL, we can bring back chat. This was an extra monthly fee for us and it wasn't being used much. Now that the forum has grown, we can definitely put it back.

We are in the process of upgrading our forum, but are running into a problem and wanted to run it past everyone. In the current version of IPBoard, you are allowed to have a sign in name to get into the forum. Then you are allowed to have a different screen name. With the upgrade, they are merging the two. So your sign in name will also be your displayed name. I really don't agree with this move that they did, but who am I to say. Anyways I wanted to run this past everyone and get their thoughts. I am leaning towards keeping the sign in names since most people have the same sign in name as display name. I know some people have different names for each, so wanted to make you aware and get everyone's feedback. You can also PM me with any concerns, questions or changes before we do the upgrade.

We are going through an upgrade to our forum to update the software. Once we get the upgrade done and TIA home page done, we will tackle the forum. I wanted to start this tread to speak your peace and get your input as what features, look or anything you would like done with the new forum. Anything goes. I am going to look over all the suggestions in this thread and the other thread site feedback so we can design something useful. Time to put your input in.

Would it be easier if we did the following: Member giveaway - Just leave this alone and only use for our monthly give away for forum members, plus our other giveaways that we only have for forum members TIA Giveaways - Have this as a separate forum and post all give always on TIA except for forum members?

Wow, that is interesting. That would suck. I love my wood stove and keeps my house warm. It's amazing that they can do that when you're just trying to keep the house warm.

Wow, I dropped the ball on this one. For some reason I thought this was done. Give it another try and let me know if it works. When I set up the new forum, I only had it applied to new members and Mods. I changed it so it should let existing members make this change. If not I will look further into it.
