  1. I've got some of the cheap hiney HDX ratcheting straps in my truck. Actually I have a BUNCH of those cheap hiney HDX ratcheting straps in my truck. They work awesome!
  2. My HD won't take harbor freight coupons!
  3. Oh let me add! I'm not bashing the line so much as I'm expressing my opinion and factual experience with the line. Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, Festool and all of the other ones have a huge fan base. Im pretty well ensconced in a several lines and have my favorites but I have had the most disappointment with my red tools. Could just be a run of bad luck but I stand by my experience. I would also add second place for warranty returns with me? Bosch. I have had to return two EC brushless tools. But, I like my blue tools!
  4. I just watched the Milwaukee demo on TiA. Milwaukee makes those demos pretty subjective but so does Dewalt. Looks like a decent machine but I will stick to my guns. If I get a cordless it'll probably be a Dewalt. Dewalt seems to out a lot of research and time into their (albeit) slow product development but I think that's because of the field testing and development put into those tools. I've had to warranty return 2 brand new Milwaukees and I the two I sold two brand new ones and they had to be returned!!!!!! Great warranty kudos to Milwaukee but I'd rather not be sending back brand new tools I spent serious coin on. I am all for new product design but I'm also all for quality. I'm the guy will save up and buy a tool and spend the cash but quality is always first for me. I'd go with the 40v Dewalt tools but just don't want to add another platform!
  5. Like Rich, I'd like to give the Makita a shot. Jimbo did a video John and the feedback looked horrible. It was quiet though. Rich, I wear hearing protection in the shop now. 25 years of sirens, guns, heavy equipment and radio chirps and I'm still pretty good with my hearing but hearing protection with an impact is important to me. I don't use my impact all that much though. It's mostly pre drill and then driving with my drill.
  6. Wow. Pretty cool stuff!
  7. So your hearing the Dewalt battery will do this? Does that mean they are going to come out with various voltage tools?
  8. I have that blower and like you I use it in turbo mode all of the time. Works great. My miwer is on the fritz so I might go Ego this time.
  9. Nice how did you fix it?
  10. Taylor, what is the make and model of your machine and what do you want to cut with it? I'll find some blades for you.
  11. Check the tension on your wheels if you haven't already. If the tension is okay you might have to clean off or replace the rubber on the wheels after you clean or replace the blade. Try citrus blade cleaner to get that crap off! Looks like a 14" bandsaw, my Rikon uses 111" blades you'll want to check the blade length but chances are you can get a new cheap blade for about $20. Hope this helps!
  12. This is when Bosch finally starts to put their money where their mouth is! With the wireless induction charging and this I think Bosch is really going to hit a home run. Can't wait to see this stuff come our way!

Yup. No Need to talk about it. Old news, and it's clear no mentions are to be made. Sorry dude.
  15. Why thank you oh mighty Man of the Fazz!!!!
  16. That's awesome Mike! Get the hedge trimmer next it is friggin phenomenal!!
  17. Nice! Glad to here you like it!
  18. I've got an air powered 15g Dewalt Finish nailer and it's a great gun. But that didn't stop me from buying the DCN660 brushless angled 16g finish nailer. It came in this week and it is an awesome machine. I am using it for molding and assembly and couldn't be happier with it. The nails are thicker (naturally) than the 18g brads and have a lot of holding power. My 15g gun is great and the nails are a minutiae bigger but meh.....having a compact cordless finish nailer that shoots a 16g nailer through hardwoods slick as snot and has super holding power and a slightly smaller head to fill is worth it. I've got the DCN692 framer For framing. My finish nailer is just that, a finish nailer. My pin nailer is just that, a pinner.
  19. Jimbo, what are you using to strip the old stain off of the wood? That stripped chair looks cleaner than new!
  20. Hahahahaha roger that Maverick!!!
  21. Is it wrong that I'm sporting more than a smile right now ?
