  1. Nice Kruton! I ordered a Lie Nielsen 3/8" fishtail chisel and a Rikon 8" drill press. Should have it Friday!
  2. Holy smokes dude! I'm going to move to Canada in the near future (yeah.....no politics but you know. ) You hiring?
  3. Jack, I have mine for over two years and there is a scoring feature in my saw. I can go ever so light to score the material before dropping the plunge. I know the Makita SP6000 is a great saw though. I will say besides the dust control and the riving knife I think the Makita is a pretty sweet tool that is more than capable.
  4. http://www.woodworkersjournal.com/track-saw-review/ check this overview!
  5. I'm with @KnarlyCarl and also check the front of the beisemeyer fence. Many time the adjustment screw are located by the clamp in the front and often take the form of a couple of Allen screws.
  6. Started doing the finish today. I'm using dark walnut for the interior....
  7. Call Kato. He's like our bird specialist
  8. Nice stuff rich and Chris! Love to hear both of your thought on these. Jimbo dos a video on the Ridgid oil impact I'd love to see how Makita runs in comparison!
  9. Welcome to the forum Bjorn!! Glad to have you here sir!
  10. Ha, tell me about it
  11. Took care of the doubled posts dude
  12. Nice! What's the maximum thickness for that machine?
  13. Next up? Cast iron wings!
  14. http://lumberjocks.com/reviews/3822 and here is another link for you
  15. Congrats on the saw. I think your going to be pretty happy. The mobile base on that is actually pretty sweet and I think if woodworking is your thing and it kind of sounds like it your going to be much happier with this one.
  16. All good bro, been busy as heck starting my own family Glad to see ya dude!
  17. Maybe for that new Milwaukee Fuel 18v miter saw too. But, I can't see slapping a 9.0 on an impact gun or hammer. They'd probably be great in the flood lights too now that I think on it. Of course, this coming from a guy that owns an M12 charger. And a few Milwaukee tool bags oh,make my bottle opener. Let us not forget my bottle opener:D
  18. Yes. And....yes. Awesome for the light stuff Kruton but not so hot when the chunks get bigger. Part of the problem is the nozzle width but also with it off, the vac won't pick up bigger stuff.
  19. Jimbo, great video. Try the chip guard out with the dust cover on and the DC attached if your working in the house. There will be no dust lying on the ground! I've got the Carvex and when you use the guards and shield with the DC it is an amazing machine for really high quality straight on cuts when being clean is key. The nice thing about the chip guard is it gives you a flush surface to prevent chip out on the up stroke. I will say that my cordless Makita has a plastic chip guard too but like the Bosch, it is pre sliced. They really should give you a solid piece of plastic so you get no chip out like on my Carvex. It gives a true zero clearance. This is arguably one the best jigsaws on the market and that's one I would definitely keep dude. Nice stuff Jimbo!
  20. I haven't tried mine in the car, that's a great idea. I have mine hanging on a wooden hook behind my Kapex and that's where I end up using it. Cleaning my bandsaw table and the Kapex. Does great on light dust but I have to go slow or I block the nozzle! Useful little guy though!
  21. Sorry to hear that Todd. I hope you can get something that fits the bill!
  22. Congratulations Phil! Awesome set, crazy price!
