  1. Honestly this is the first time I've ever had a problem with CPO. I've actually purchase several too.s from them without ever a problem. This kind of sucked but they rectified it quickly so I will still do business with them, I lost out on a good price though
  2. Funny I ended up ordering the Dewalt and CPO never shipped it. They did refund me after almost two weeks but I lost out and had funds tied up for like 13 days. Still when the problem was brought up CPO fixed it immediately.
  3. Thanks Jimbo. I haven't been shooting a lot of videos as of late but I prefer using my iPad so I still have phone access. I might try this out!
  4. Yeah I liked on Amazon UK and they ship it here but with the U.K. charger. I checked out Metabo and they do t have the charger available here as of this point. They look like brilliant tools though and with the right angle drill head they will be like my CXS which is the best drill I've ever used. Handy for everything
  5. I wish we could get those here but the charger is incompatible with the US electrical
  6. No I don't think so either John. I love that Makita one, it charges super fast and the USB ports are pretty sweet too!
  7. I don't have that one but I do have the Makita. It is quite choice!
  8. So I went to turn the thing on and the drill wouldn't activate. I ended up reinserting the battery and it fired up but a call to Bosch and a brand new one is on the way which will end up with Jimbo. I'm really glad I checked I would've felt terrible! Gotta love Bosch though, fixed quickly and two day shipping not a bad warranty they've got!
  9. Nice buy Jimbo! First hand experience, love that hackzall. Now.....if only Bosch would make a brushless powerhouse 12v one!
  10. And the verdict STILL ain't out John! I'm thinking about dressing up the base a little with some moulding then putting the decorative legs on. I tried a sampling of Danish oil in cherry and fruitwood but my wife wants them darker so I'll be heading over to woodcraft and getting some walnut toned oil and give that a shot.nthen armor seal baby! Then???? Then I can hang this bad boy up and fill it with all sorts of crap and potatoes!
  11. Thanks Protool, not really but I try! The poplar is a great wood as its in the hardwood family but is easy and relatively cheap to work with. Plus it's easy to paint if you decide to go that route and Home Depot and Lowes normally have it in their select piles though I try to get it at a local dealer. Not a very figured wood and in this case my wood has the poplar green tinge. I figure it's okay, if I do the whole kitchen over no one will notice.
  12. Oh Gawd no! I do have erotic dreams of it though! Seriously though i have the DF500 which my wife bought for me for a wedding present. The machine is awesome. It'll do up to 10mm thick dominos for super strong mortise and tenons and you can double them up. If we decide to sell our home and we buy a larger house with a barn I'll probably get the XL as having the ability to do really big tenons would be a nice feature. i bought a couple of accessories for this machine including the Seneca Domiplate which is great for stability when the tool is not on a table.
  13. Thanks Kruton. Today's dominos were 8mmx50mm.
  14. John, I was going to use some tiger maple I have but I ended up going poplar for ease and cost as I may be selling our home or staying, if we sell I want to make it as easy as possible but keep the high strength of the the hardwood. I'm not sure about painting or staining. The problem is if we sell, the buyer will wa t this painted to match the cabinets but if we stay, I am going to rebuild all of our cabinets I which case I will be going with a combination stain and paint. So, long story short, beats me dude but poplar paints really easy. The case is made with high quality Baltic birch plywood. The inset piece in the doors is a 1/4 Baltic birch.
  15. Fueled by chocolate and maybe a beer, made some progress finally on the pantry!
  16. Mmmmmmmm .....I love the smell of sawdust in the morning
  17. Great review Nicholas! Looks like you have a winner!
  18. It's not the number Jason....it's the attitude
  19. Ahhhh....if pro I'd probably go brushless. The battery run time is the big draw. The brushless non fuel set looks decent but doesn't have all the bells and whistles li,e mutli speed but if your not used to having it it ain't really a sacrifice
  20. James, are you talking diy or more woodworking? What kind of projects are you planning on?
