  1. I actually was cleaning some rabbits with a Stanley sweetheart shoulder plane last week. Great little plane!
  2. Funny that Jason, I was thinking we should start collecting these putz' stories and putting them in pub talk for all the members to see. The other day I started going through the new members and purging and labeling spammers before they can even post. I think I'll stop for the amazonians.
  3. Thank you sir! Pretty excited, I've now got a Lie Nielsen low angle block plane, the Lie Nielsen Router plane and this Veritas bull nose! What's really cool about this is the nose comes off so you can go right to the butt. These three planes are for shoulder and dados
  4. Not to let you red freaks think I'm switching positions, I got this too. Great little gun, works slick as snot too. Man.....couple of red tools in the shop, two detectors and the Gen 2.
  5. And part two.....Veritas Bullnose Planer....
  6. I haven't tried the woodslicer blades and I'm new to the bandsaw but I have read and seen a lot of articles on that blade and they were all good ones. Marc Spagnoulo speaks very highly of them too.
  7. Nice find Jimbo. These will look funny in my shop
  8. Hey what bandsaw are you getting dude?
  9. I'll back the bandsaw experts! I just got another Timberwolf blade. USA made too!

It's more of a protector after you clean the surface but it works awesome.

I like Boeshield T9 for my cast iron surfaces.
  13. Wow, fantastic stuff with your son dude. I wish I had a child to share such experiences with. Your a good dad dude!!
  14. No Jimbo, that is not for my Festool. That is a router plane made by Lie Nielsen in Maine and its used to clean out and or make dados into wood. It's fully adjustable and includes a fence for edge work. Very nice plane. Pretty proud of this one, it's going to get some immediate use on a project I am building from my wife.
  15. That's an awesome deal Jimbo on two great tools. That saw is fantastic, I had k e for about three years and loved it.
  16. Makes sense Comp, with me everything has to be mobile. If I had your seized shop id be the same way with a central DC unit and hoses. His spring summer God Willing!!!
  17. You know the more I read about that DC unit the more it sounds appealing and similar to the 2 I have. And like mine it takes bags which will prolong the life of the unit. Totally worth it in my opinion. Plus the ability to roll around. For instance, I'm taking a class right now for a large project build. Prior to me going to class I'm using my TS on the other side of my shop to break down sheet goods. I just roll the unit over, it provides power and it won't cost people an arm and a leg for the Festool, Bosch or Dewalt units which are similarly priced. The power unit Comp is using is also a much cheaper way of using the shop gave but this Karcher is viable too if you afraid of dust like me.
  18. It's the Karcher WD5/P http://m.woodcraft.com/product/161498/karcher-wd5p-wetdry-shop-vacuum-66-gallon.aspx
  19. Woodcraft is now selling a Karcher DC unit that is $199 with the power converter in it now. Pretty cool that you can but these for a variety of prices now. Also I have read of conversion kits that you can add directly to the DC unit.
  20. Thats what Im thinking too. Regardless this is a really cool option for the guys running the older tools!
  21. Thanks Mondo! There is no such thing as too much butter!!!!
  22. That's what I'm wondering Jimbo, if what you said is correct it might simply be the electronics in the older tools might not be able to handle the higher Amps?
  23. Do you guys know what the XRP was running for Ah on their old Nicad?
