  1. I've got two hoodies and four t shirts. The t shirts are fantastic. The hoodies are starting to pill up but they don't shrink. I'd like to see them come out with the fleece type Eric has but I know it.l cost the guys dearly. Regardless, you get some nice quality and the pilling on my sweatshirts are around the hood where it touches my face. Natural to happen if you don't have lady like skin it roughs up the material. I love my hoodies though!
  2. Comp, that's awesome. Have you taken it to an antique purveyor to find anything else out about it?
  3. Let me shoot Conductor an email. I have had problems with size before. I started sending them to photo bucket and then attaching a link for the guys to view there.
  4. Other than the two planes Router and Rabbit) I bought online yesterday and the mobility cart for my Sawstop that is being delivered tomorrow, N-O new tools for a while!!!! Comp, are you using those for the Kreg?
  5. I've got a Toyota Taylor and love it. I'm actually a Mopar guy but my truck is the bees knees. The Tacoma is a small truck b put very capable. If your looking for a basic truck with the ability to haul projects and wood around in the bed and don't need to tow I'm sure the 4cyl would be fine but, a 6 is going to give you more power and less strain on the motor if your driving up large hills and such and when you look over the full MPG thing, if your a local driver it real doesn't add up to much, kind of like getting more expensive gas on your side of town as opposed to saving 10-20 cents on the other....seriously, if your truck takes 20 gallons to fill, you may have saved a couple of bucks but you have to drive all the way to the other side of rain and back! If you are going to the mill to get some 8/4 or 6/4 oak or maple having the extra two cylinders means less work on the engine. Plus if you ever decided to get a single trailer to haul to the dump etc. you've got some extra power. I would recommend thinking about what you want to do with your truck. Sounds like this'll be a second vehicle? If so figure that into the equation too. I will say, back in 2008ish I test drove an extended cab Tacoma, 2 wheel drive 6cyl. It was really small but really nimble. My Tundra....well that eats Tacomas and spits out Prius'. I get 15MPG consistently whether I'm loaded with lumber or my CanAm 2Up Outlander Max XT. Having a larger motor gives you more options. Going with the 6cyl would too!
  6. Nice! Are the images too big?
  7. What the hell happened to sunny warm Rhode Islamd with bikini clad beauties walking the boardwalks handing out cold Sam Adams....
  8. Hahahaha I walk into HQ and all the recruits are running around yes sir, no sir. Same thing at the Academy when I taught there. A year later a lot of these guys and gals are know it all's. I run into the same guys at training and it's a LOT different. I went to Hannafords last week and bought a 12 pack of Samual Adams. The girl id'd me!!!! I still got it!!!!!
  9. Meh. I'm an old timer at my job now. The young guys make me laugh. I'm retiring in three and can't wait. Getting older sucks but it's got it's benefits
  10. That s too bad I'd love to see them Turner. How many Makita and Dewalt boxes you putting in there?
  11. No problem bro, I have the Carvex barrel grip (corded) and absolutely love it. I also got the Carvex base it with the circle cutter and everything. Wonderful tools, make cutting an absolute joy.
  12. Ended up purchasing a Lie Nielsen Router Plane. Hope to have it next week.
  13. Dude. If I had the HKC55 I would be one happy brother let me say! Unfortunately, it's not released in the USA as of this moment. I'd recommend going to the FOG and seeing if the guys there can help out. Also.... https://www.festool.com/Products/Pages/Product-Detail.aspx?pid=564636&name=HKC-55-cordless-portable-circular-saw-HKC-55-EB-Li-Basic I'm sure you've checked the Euro site but there a lot of guys on the FOG that are from Europe that have a lot of information. I would highly recommend looking up Peter Parffitt. He could probably help you out and there are many guys from Europe that talk about this saw. http://festoolownersgroup.com/ That's the link for the FOG.
  14. I'm retiring in there years guys!!!! I'll be 48 Wait.....
  15. Poor John.......when your young the title is awesome......when your not.....it's kinda a slap in da face!
  16. Congratulations on the channel Jimbo! I hope the money starts raking in!
  17. Well regardless Kato, bravo dude. Looks awesome and the shop got an upgrade too! Win win!
  18. Thanks Comp, I have to admit, the torque on the return was pretty impressive. The structural lumber I will be using will all be PT 6x with some large lags. I'm thinking those won't be an issue with these guys.
  19. Thanks for sharing Regopit! Go USA!!!!!
  20. @Kato dude there have been so many posts popping up I missed this one. That's one great job you did sir!
  21. Awesome John! I'm really glad you like it dude. Those are some nice tools. Just to many in the shop!!
  22. Awesome Regopit. Your going to really like it. I put the blades on last night and it's really well thought out. There are even bevels on the machining to ensure the blades go in right. Really happy with this purchase.
  23. I'm with some on this one. Laguna arguably makes the best band saws on the planet. Woodcraft has a 14" model that routinely goes on sale for around $950ish? Phenomenal saw. I went with the Rikon 10-325 as its an awesome saw but the real game changer was the price. Both were on sale when I bought the Rikon but I spent about $300 less with the sale. Very very very happy with my Rikon bandsaw and my Lathe but knowing I was saving for a Sawstop the difference in money was what swayed me. I will say Laguna is known for being a premier bandsaw (actually table saws too) manufacturer out of Italy.
