  1. My Wife wouldn't let me get another saw outside of this. I was really focused on the PM2000 or the Sawstop cabinet for the price of this machine it was a no guess jump on it now kind of thing. I love the mobile base. It's the cats shiny behind!
  2. @kdv I actually like the table a lot. I bought the one with the aluminum table and insert. It has a hex key to raise and lower the motor unit and the fence and feather boards are really solid. Comes with some shims for jointing boards but I don't use them. I think at some point in a few years I might upgrade to a larger table with a Jessem lift or something but for the money it's a great table. Nice solid work surface. The legs are really beefy with the aluminum top making a really solid table that doesn't flex. When I put the table together I was really surprised at how solid it is. I've got a couple of friends that use these out in the field and they like the table quite a bit. I won't upgrade any time in the immediate future but when I move my shop and add a good DC unit the router table might be getting replaced so I can get a really solid lift and a bigger work surface. I highly recommend the unit though.
  3. Why yes you can! If your cutting super wet wood or something conductive you can turn the key and it will reset the system so you can do what you need to do without blowing the brake and blade into an orgy or metal destruction!
  4. Thunder Struck Oh yeah, thunder from down under
  5. Agreed, I have four. Two fixed, two plunge. My Bosch 1617 has a fixed base but I use that in my little Bosch router table Love that machine. Great router.

  8. I'd go with the Dewalt.http://youtu.be/__ZN97KYTdE http://youtu.be/EFDiGkE_Gik The guys did an awesome review and Peter Parfitt did one too. I'd go Dewalt over the others without hesitation.

Yeah I have to admit, that pic is a tease. What a massive difference from new to old. Love the separate controls from drill to drive. Much smaller than the older one which I have.
  10. Nice Mike. Looks awesome! Thanks for the link Mondo!

I have something like that too. Only a LOT bigger. M&P is a good weapon system. It's been keeping me and everyone else we serve up here safe for years. The adjustable grips are nice too. Very simple system and easily maintained!
