  1. Fantastic work! Look forward to seeing more, can't wait to see the headboard on the bed!
  2. I was talking to a mechanic who has a Mac box. It's gorgeous and he paid almost 10k for it. Two levels, lights, stereo, power....my Dewalt box works fine for me but it's full of small woodworking tools and SOME wrenches, pliers and screwdriver (mostly for woodworking) I ain't no mechanic with a fortune of fine mechanical tools so.....
  3. Sorry Comp, feel asleep. Mine is 4oz. and comes up to 10oz. I haven't used too much as these last two pens were #3 and #4 though two of them were sealed with the CA. At the rate I'm going I'll probably get 20 or so pens out of this (guess but based on how far this goes even as a sealer). I'm not sure if I'd go larger for my purposes as I'm afraid it'll not seal properly and I will end up with waste.
  4. Second one was Bubinga! Here's the finished product....

    Epic Fail.....

Wow Comp that sucks big time. Also it's pushing 52f outside right now!
  6. Here's number two....comp, I'm using the smaller sized bottles I will get the exact size in a few but they come in two sizes from Woodcraft. Zach, I'm getting my kits from Woodcraft, we have one just down the road. My first one today was zebra woof but it shattered,
  7. Thanks Comp, they are Atlas kits. This one was kind of interesting in the finish. I screwed it up with CA glue and then was able to salvage it with some heavy sanding and then a wet 1500 finish
  8. And pen number three....
  9. Well I may have been more interested if there was a hot blonde getting her beaver stuffed by Leslie Nielsen
  10. I think the link is bad Chad
  11. Comp, that is friggin' amazing. Absolutely awesome. Makes me think of the Amityville horror but really cool! Love that saw, absolutely awesome looking machine.
  12. That's why my brothers company switched to Milwaukee from Dewalt. Plus he just got the new Fuel Hole Hawg. He's in red Heaven now. His most used Milwaukee...the pro pex expander. If I need a pro pex expander.....I've got a serious problem.
  13. Oh! One more thing to your original question. I purchased the Dewalt DCF887 impact kit from them. I realized, I don't need any more cordless tools....I need a big honking stationary sander. I called Acme to cancel my order and they were AWESOME. No problems. Try doing that with a big box store. I will buy from them with no hesitation the way a first time cancel / purchase / customer had to deal with them.
  14. Chris, just for ease of mind, Ridgids lifetime service agreement is actually a great deal. You have to.... 1- Buy your Ridgid Tools from Home Depot 2- Send your UPC from the box and receipt of purchase to Ridgid. Once you do this.....that's it. And.....it actually works. I have had to use this service before, twice actually. No some may say that is a sign of poor craftsmanship and they may be right but....I have had three BRAND NEW Milwaukee tools that failed. No Milwaukee and Ridgid are both owned by TTI but truthfully the difference in my opinion is this; Getting Ridgid to replace both batteries required some leg work on my part. Getting Mileaukee to replace my tools? A call. No postage, just a trip with a prepaid mail slip to UPS. Ridgids warranty though requires some leg work is forever. At least that's what they say. Milwaukees warranty does end. But to this day, the best warranty experience I have is hands down with Milwaukee. I don't own any cordless Milwaukee tools any longer and though I like the product, having three failures made me nervous. The other tools I have had were 100% high end tools and my brother is a pro and loves his Milwaukee tools. He switched from Dewalt to Milwaukee. I kind of am all over the place. That Ridgid deal you posted has me really.....REALLY....thinking about going there. I will say this, Ridgids line in my opinion is a pro grade tool. But they don't have the variety of tools that Makita, Bosch, Dewalt or Milwaukee or even Ryobi offer. My biggest complaint with Milwaukee....not a lot of woodworking tools. But....like Milwaukee, Ridgid's line is steadily growing with some very innovative tools, 18v sander, brushless nailers, a planer..... Milwaukee? They are huge trades specific and electricians and plumbers have so much to chose from from big red that it's probably confusing. But it looks like they're catching up. I will close by saying this....if your a hobbyist like me, changing lines is like changing t shirts. Once they start to smell? Get a new one.
  15. If you do buy them, get them from the Toolnuts Festool page. Tether are $12 with free shipping, the refill packs are under 9 with free shipping.
  16. Yeah I've checked those out Comp. I'm deeply invested in the PicaDry pencils. Love them. I have four and they are all over the shop. I didn't need four but it ends up they get misplaced all the time. Even in Festool green.
  17. No dreams but I went in with a bunch of our NHSP mechanics and got a ticket........hmmmmmm.....farm......land......horses.....family taken care of........Festool.......Sawstop Cabinet saw......20" planer.......big shop........retirement three years sooner.........
  18. I just bought one. It came up to $53.67 US from AUD conversion.. Yippeeeeeeeeee another cool tool to add to my chest
