  1. And....a Porter Cable 692 as well as a Jessem Rout R Lift II to go in my brand spankin’ New Kreg Router Table I just got a smoking hot deal on. Expensive week but the router and the Kreg complete router table kit and switch were too good to pass up. More pics to follow once I get the lift and table assembled.
  2. https://www.toolnut.com/milwaukee-2475-20p-m12-cordless-compact-tire-inflator-w-2ah-battery.html Wont ship till April but that’s a heck of a deal. Now I’m going to have friggin’ Milwaukee hoodie and an inflator. 🤔
  3. I had an occasional issue with a latch plus they are not quite as tall as the Tanos. Amazon UK is awesome when it comes to Systainers, I can save $40 on the Sort 3 with shipping and no tariffs. The handcart was nearly $70 cheaper at the time. The prices do change in the UK or it may be the exchange.
  4. Welcome to the forums dude. If you could I would wait and save some coins for a 14” bandsay. I have the Rikon 10-325. I did have a small bandsaw previous to this and wish I had just waited. Now...having ignored your question, I can advise that Rikon makes wonderful toolsand they are solidly built so if you are still going 10” I can speak to Rikon quality. I also have a Wen oscillating spindle sander that I like a lot and a Grizzly aircleaner in my shop. I wouldn’t hesitate buying Grizzly though my Wen seems decently built. Obviously the only named bandaw in my shop is Rikon but I think Grizzly would make a decent bandsaw, but I would still recommend waiting for a 14” at a minimum.
  5. Welcome aboard bro!

    What Model?

Dude, welcome to the forums. Not sure on the model but I’d bet that Dewalt no longer manufactures parts for such a classic. I’d agree with @framer and thanks to him for figuring a possible model number! If you find a part let us know, I honestly would be shocked to see that being made by Dewalt. 👍👍
  7. Ha! How nice could it be? It’s Milwaukee 💩 I have no idea why they haven’t sent this over here and like the Bosch it’s got the offset chuck which Festool STILL doesn’t have on it’s compact drill!
  8. Welcome to the forums dude!
  9. I’m heavily invested in systainers. I have the newer type many with drawers and toolboxes. All are well made, solid performers that stand up to drops and such. Will they handle heavy abuse? No, my Toughsystem boxes will handle outright beating but my Systainers and the accompanying carts have been moved from my indoor shop to other locations with no problems. Are they expensive? Yes. I purchase all of my drawer Sys Storage boxes and tool boxes from Amazon UK and save a boatload of money. I have one Makita box, totally compatible with the Festool systainers but they are based on the older design with the really tough latch system. The big thing with Systainers are the variability in the types. If I think of it, I’ll post some pics of the ones I specifically buy as they are phenomenal for my use. Again....buy from Amazon UK. The nice thing is the new cordless Festool sanders are coming with the new drawer unit systainers. They are really sweet. Will I buy into Milwaukee? I don’t think so, my investments in the systainers and toughsystem boxes are fine. Interestingly enough, I got rid of all of my l boxxes except two, one for my phenomenal Bosch ROS65VCL and one for my Wife’s stamping up stuff.
  10. Dude, beautiful mistake!!
  11. I read some great stuff about Popular tools and this looked like a great combo blade, I got that from Carbide Processors. The second blade is a very highly rated blade from Ridge Carbide Tool Co. A bit more expensive but I’ll let you know how they work out. It’ll be mice having a couple of blades in the shop and I’ll clean up the basic Sawstop blade and see if I can find a guy to sharpen it for me. The KD Pine was getting bogged down while ripping some five foot cuts and though my Sawstop has a small 1.75hp motor it wasn’t the motor getting me in a bind.
  12. I ended up ordering two blades from two manufacturers... Combination Saw Blade, 10" x 50T ATB+R, Popular Tools CR1050 and 10" TS2000 Super Combo Blade 4-ATB/1-Raker Tooth Blade Bore 5/8"
  13. Gotta find a guy here, I heard there is a place in Fall River Ma that does good work. Thanks bro
  14. Thanks dude, the arbor on the Kapex is Metric so no go there but yeah, I have the Kapex and a couple of blades for it.
  15. Thanks comp, do you ever use a combo blade? Also does Freud have a sharpening service?
  16. Hey guys, I am working hard and fast on my Sawstop and ,y stock blade is bogging down. A good cleaning will take care of it but I am in the market for a better blade. What do you guys use? Any recommendations? I hear the Freud Fusion is awesome, naturally Forrest but what else?
  17. Nice custom made mallet from Dema and the Wonder dog for the new bench
  18. Like all great plans, they are up to change. I am forgoing the two slab tops and today opted to joint, plane and rip ten 2x4 for lamination to make a 3”top.... I am flying by the seat of my pants but just got notified Chris gets another 3-5 weeks off because my stupid gallbladder opted to stop working and I have to have surgery on that thing! More shop time right? So thank God, that’s all it is!!! Anyways, this work tonight will result in a monolithic top, possibly split, possibly with a tool well.
  19. Thanks Buddy! Slow... But we are getting there!
  20. Made some leeway on the bench today....

    New Sander

So....I went down to Woodcraft to get a router table set up. I ended up trying the new sanders out. Wow. Really nice quality, and the dust bag works really well. Still dust on the surface, it ain’t a vac, but it’s a heck of a lot better than my Makita 18v with the bag. Just as compatible to my other sanders from team blue green.
