  1. Kinda like that Dewalt drill hahahahahahahahahahahaha
  2. Hahahahahahahahaha I think I just coughed up Thai food. My nose burns
  3. No problem-o guys!!! I have the night and the rest of the week off! Let the rooks deal with 'em!!! Back in 99 I arrested a female lawyer for "running the tolls". Ends up the toll attendants...they were armed with M16 assault rifles. The tolls...yeah they were the box at the beginning of the Pease Air Force Base. She almost made it to the planes but the 5'00" 110 lb lawyer was so sauced she plowed into a barrier. At least she paid the "toll". As she sped through, the MILITARY INSTALLATION MARKED ARMED GUARDS, toll booth, she threw two quarters at the nice attendants. Nope guys, I'm sitting on my couch watching TV while my dog is next to me and a roaring fire is going while Samantha is making Pumpkin Whoopie Pies!!!
  4. Hey Travis, I covered a. Suicide in 1996 via train. 16 year old kid just got in trouble selling pot. Just before his court date, he laid down on the rails and let things happen. I spent quite a while with the engineer. Tough stuff dude. Then last week my brother sent me a pic of some dumb as$ that ran a crossing light and broadsided a train!!!!! Heck, two weeks ago, I brought a school bus driver in to hearings for crossing a train crossing while it was active. He stopped, saw the train, gunned it, and a cross gate came down and took the clip lights off of the school bus. No one got hurt but the last thing I heard on the video was some 11 or 12 year old saying "look out, there's a train coming!". He argued with me!!!! He's not driving school children anymore.
  5. The Milwaukee router has two bases, a body grip case which is small (larger than a trim but pretty compact) and a plunge base. I use it for pretty much everything. I just bought the 1-3/4 PC and truthfully haven't used it yet but it is a great size for such a powerful tool. Both have soft start motors so they don't jump around on you. I guess all I'm saying Brian, is spending $99 on a compact router (Ridgid) when you can get a PC for maybe $129 really isn't too much when you can use that, larger router to do trim and add those 1/2" bits to do cabinetry is a good buy. But...if all you are going to do is trim work the I would flatly recommend the Ridgid. It's an awesome tool and you can get them on CPORIDGID for a great price in reconditioned shape which in my experience is the same as brand new. The warranty is normally a year but you cannot tell the difference.
  6. Hi Brian, I have a Milwaukee 1-3/4 HP Router mounted to my table and a 1-1/2 HP PC that is use out of the table. Both are really good performers. I had a Ridgid compact and sold it. The Ridgid was a great quality tool but to be quite honest, underpowered for big projects like table tops etc (which it is clearly not designed for). Maybe getting a bigger one may save you money in the long run and the price is negligible when you really look at it plus the ability to use half inch bits is always a plus!
  7. Hey guys and gals, have a safe and Happy New Year!
  8. Congratulations Chase! You'll have to put that tool on the rescue and take some cars apart with it!
  9. I'm unfortunately biased. I had a 20v Dewalt and did. Or like it. Milwaukee is a solid performer with WAY more tools in their line than Dewalt. But truthfully the fact is instead of asking go on the Maine site (TiA) and check out the reviews Eric and Dan have done. You might develop an opinion that is based on something other than all of our personal preferences. I will say the M18 kit you are looking at is a solid performer and the drill has an all metal chuck too, unlike the Dewalt..
  10. Yup, if you want a solid tool set Ridgid in the USA is $199. The drill and driver are both powerful and well built (not Milwaukee tough but...). AND if you register the tools for the lifetime warranty they actually, in my case, do replace batteries at no charge.
  11. Hey Javier, my tool that I sent was within the five year window. Total cost for me including shipping to and from....$0.00. Milwaukee is awesome dude.
  12. Yup if you can't afford it, Ridgid. Ridgid does make good tools for the most part and they are pretty durable as well as powerful. Also, God help me for saying this here, you can buy a Ryobi 18v lithium kit with saws and everything if you If you want quality and a great line to expand in then you might want to look at Milwaukee
  13. Hahahahaha Regopit. I'm there with you on the freakin' deals. Can't save fun money to save my life.
  14. Thanks Travis, all I keep doing is looking at them! Now I have to use them, too darn pretty though! I'm thinking about re insulating and us flooring a small addition to my house so I have the plan now just need to commit to getting my new tools dirty
  15. DAMN ERIC AND DAN!!!!! So I go to woodworkers warehouse in Newington yesterday. The T15 drills are on sale (10% off)!!!! What the heck guys, can't a guy not spend all his loose cash on power tools?!?!?!? I'm avoiding that place like the freakin' plague now!
  16. Javier, the wait with Milwaukee is really short. Their customer service is second to no one thus far for me. Honestly the turn around time was within a week including shipping. I cannot say enough good about Milwaukee as far as tool quality and customer service.
  17. Thanks Harols. I haven't tried it out yet. Right now it's on a red velvet lush pillow being fanned by four gorgeous Indian girls wearing Sari's....wait a second.
  18. Hahahahaha I hear you DR! Totally deserve it but boy, I miss em!
  19. Javier, if you go on Milwaukee's repair section on the site, they have a self printed paid printout for postage. They pay for the shipping!
  20. Well guys, it's official. I can put my rock in' Festool sticker on my Tundra. I am the proud owner of a Festool barrel grip Carvex Jigsaw! Oh boy....heart rate has got to go down!
  21. I too have used Milwaukee repair center for my M12 LED light. Sent it in, no receipt, they checked the date stamp on the tool and sent me a brand new one in TWO days. Totally awesome experience.
  22. Thanks Travis I will. I am thinking about going all out and getting the Carvex. The review Eric and Dan did really piqued my interest and I figure brushless, totally upgradeable, sounds like maybe I should go there. The Makita is really the only other choice for me as the Bosch is a Hundred dollars more. If I am going to spend the cash I may as we'll go with something that's going to last a lifetime. Besides, my girlfriend told me if I put that sticker on my window I really should have more than ONE Festool otherwise I look like a dork! Hahahahahahaha
  23. Yeah, I've got the Bosch 1587AVS and I like it but the blade change sucks. The tool itself is awesome but...
  24. Well that's the thing Travis, for me, until I can retire in five, it's just a hobby, DIY thing. The Makita is a really good looking tool, deal right now.mthanks!
