  1. YeH, getting a track saw now is a compromise until I build my garage. Then...I'm thinking a 220 saw with the router wing. My workshop is just too small for a full size saw. I will keep my Ryobi until I can get a decent saw but for sheet goods the track will just have to suffice. I am trying to save for a Festool. It will be my first. Scha-wiiiiiiinnnnngg!

That's awesome Regopit. We never have anything like that in the Granite State. I'd be bankrupt if we did though.
  3. One term Nicholas... Electrical Fence!
  4. No problem Eric. So in my best judgement I am glad I went with the pellet. I hauled down 2 tons of pellets the other day in to my poor workshop and my girlfriend helped me move another ton downstairs the night before last (150 bags total). So far, I have been burning one bag every (24 hrs or so) day of the mixed pellets and I just mixed in a bag of hardwood pellets just prior to writing this.(be interesting to see the difference in heat and ash). I shut the stove off every other day and vacuum it out and take a straight blade to the window to clean it off (don't use a cleaner). The house is between 70 and 74 (a virtual heat wave in my post war 2x4 framed Cape. I installed two doorway fans to circulate air and the house is nice and toasty. Hope this helps. So far I am EXTREMELY happy about this. Oil sucks.
  5. Yeah, I have like five or six small battery packs (1.5ah) and one 3.0ah xc pack that I use on my Milwaukee multi tool. Now I've got a 4.0 and a 2.0. I don't mind the xc packs, they are big but the trade in run time, and power is worth the sacrifice in size.
  6. DR99, I have the Ryobi contractors table saw and hate it. I have decided to go with the track saw and found the Sheppach (?) track saw for around $270 with everything you need. German company with a good reputation and the reviews on the saw are pretty good. Anyways, my workshop is really small and I think that the track saw, for me, is the way to go.
  7. Wow. That really does look pretty dumb. My brothers work partner bought the dual saw, circular saw for plumbing installs and loves it. Supposedly it cuts through venting material like its butter.
  8. Guess that's why Bosch and Milwaukee don't have hot chicks. They'd lose their reputation!
  9. But hey Wayne! They have La Makita Chica bang bang!!! Hahahahahaha
  10. So...as promised from my earlier post, my review of my first M12 Fuel tool. While checking out eBay last month, I came upon an awesome deal. Somebody was selling a brand new 2403-20 Fuel Drill Driver. Now I had decided I was going to get the hammer version but the price of this kit was $108 shipped with one 2.0 and one 4.0ah battery. So I bought it. Last week I did my first big project of the year. I kind of took a hiatus from work around the house and with new change comes my new living room. That change included my 51" Samsung TV. Arr arr arr. Also in the change was a new pellet stove and my own built hearth pad (saved $389 retail). I have a Hitachi brushless 18v hammer drill but said "hey chucklehead...let's try out that fancy new rig you just bought". So, M18 Circular Saw M18 Recip and my M12 Fuel drill driver to the rescue. As most of you know Milwaukee is an innovator. This mean my 12v drill has a 1/2" metal chuck. I bought a Lennox hole saw, 3" and 2" and although I had faith it would do this, it actually DID blow right through my house. NO PROBLEMS! That's pretty darn good ladies and gents. So as far as my opinion goes, this is a pretty freakin' awesome tool. Pros: 1/2" metal chuck. Up to 1700 RPM's. 350" lbs of torque. 4.0ah battery (three bars after the entire job was done). Cons: it is pretty big but seriously. It's smaller than most 18v drill drivers. That is the only con in my opinion.
  11. I'm in agreement with you Javier, Bosch really has amped up their 12v line. Wish they'd make some non totally metro / gay work clothes but at least they have an awesome jig saw!
  12. Sweet Jesus Dwain! Yellow?!?!?! I'd rather use my pruning saw!!!
  13. Problem is, as usual, it's in Europe. Not here in the good Ole USA yet! Why not send those over here??? But thank Christ above those gay a$s Bosch Work Capris haven't come here!!!! Sweet Mother Mary! What the heck are those crazy westerners thinking?
  14. Welcome to what I look like every day at my day job Eric! Hahahahaha
  15. Wow. That is awesome. That kid has got some serious talent and a seriously positive attitude.
  16. You know Conductor, I have had my Milwaukee M18 Sawzall and that is honestly the only Milwaukee tool I own that I don't like. I never should've bought it. No adjustable shoe, sealed like you said and it sucks juice so quick the battery kibbies out in just a few short minutes. The batteries are fine so it has to be the tool. I had an adjustable Ridgid Recip that had orbital and everything but I HAD to change. Chuckle head...
  17. Yeah I figure grab the above mentioned items for EACH side. Can't go wrong then!
  18. I had a Kobalt 25 foot tape but for the life of me I cannot find it. I'm normally not this bad about misplacing things but these are my most frequently lost items in order, 1- Leatherman 2- Pencil 3- Straight Knife 4- Tape Measure 5- My Temper (which generally adds to lost items)
  19. Thanks for the heads up DamnYankee. I just did a Reno in my living room and I have a fat ax tape. It was and as of this time, the most lost item I have. I swear the thing has some freakin' legs on it or my house is infested with Gremlins. So now thanks to you and your video off to HD after work to get this one. I have the last version of this tape but this one seems quite a bit nicer and still USA made.
  20. Hahahahaha Regopit! That looks like an outdoor version of my workshop! Only mine is a mess of Milwaukee, Bosch and a Ryobi contractor saw (don't buy it. I should have just waited for a cabinet saw). I gotta clean that pile up. I have the l-boxx system from Bosch but...I'm not a contractor. I use the boxes in the wood shop for organization and the occasional trip to the farm. Ends up I found the l-boxx system before the Dewalt system. But for $39 it is kind of hard to overlook the large Toughbox Dewalt has on Amazon. The l-boxx system is great, tough but I don't think work site tough. The boxes have a reinforced lid and all but they are not meant to be left outdoors during rain storms and all. Can certainly be banged around but...
  21. Not a single purchase. Didn't see anything worth spending the cash on this year.
  22. Wow! I bought the fourth gen in March refurbished for $419 wifi only. Awesome but uploading pics here has been a little bit challenging. I will say I bought my girlfriend an iPad Mini with Retina for $399 for Christmas. I want to get the Air like yours Wayne but $499 US is a LOT of cash!! Curious what the exchange is rate is cash wise.
