I'm not a woodworker like you guys. I do a lot of automotive work and metalworking. A lot of my wrench sets are specialty sets.
-
There was a construction company here that never chained down equipment and one day their backhoe fell off on the highway going around a sharp turn. They learned their lesson that day. Personally I don't see a point in not securely strapping a load down. Those chains and straps aren't for decorations.
-
I will count them tomorrow to get an exact number. You definitely have me beat in the number of ratchets, I have 15.
-
That is how I was conductor, except it was wrenches with me. I now have about 10 different sets of wrenches.

The light cover is broken.
-
I feel like I owe them as well.

Looks nice. The only thing is when the sun shines on it every spec of dust will be seen.
-
If only they made larger compressors. Our 60 gallon compressor is super loud. I would like to see them make larger ones. I could barely hear it.
-
I like the color of it. Ignore the way the tires look in the front. They don't look like that at all in person.
-
I completely agree conductor. What is the point of having a nice car if you chant show it off and enjoy it once and a while.
-
Thanks conductor. Everything should fall into place now. Here is what the rolling chassis looks like.
-
I wish they had dimensions. I hate it when a ratchet is too short. They do look small though. I think I will stick to my current ones though. Nothing seems really appealing about then to me.

We finally have the frame and rear end painted. We painted the door trim and dash as well, we were going to wood grain the dash but we decided it wouldn't be worth it. The glass is being cut for everything this week. Now everything should fall into place. My grandpa thinks that the engine has a cracked head on it, but he has a fairly potent set of aftermarket ones ready to go. We still need a wiring harness but we might have found one today.

Bosch is working on 5.0 batteries as well. I saw it on toolguyd. http://toolguyd.com/bosch-18v-5ah-battery-pack/

I think if Milwaukee made a lot of the high use corded tools (grinder, sawzall, miter saw, ect.) brushless it would put them into a new league.

I don't know why but you can get the 4.0 battery kits with the non brushless premium drill for under 200 on eBay all day long, and they are new as well.
-
The 20v packs will take at least 3 times more recharges compared to the nicad packs as well. If you can find a good deal on the 20v one I would go for it.
-
If the batteries work fine It should be fine for you. I would check eBay for a bare tool.
-
How many batteries do you have?
-
They make a compact battery but I think that you will be fine with the full size battery. The batteries are much smaller than the old 18v ones.
-
I think that the m2 means that they are 4.0 batteries. Are they black and yellow?
-
It is yellow and black, the 3.0 is just black. The 4.0 should say 4.0 on the side and bottom. It will give you more runtime compared to the 3.0. They also weigh the same.
-
Lowes or eBay. For some reason there is a lot of new 20v kits on eBay for cheap. Make sure it has the 4.0 batteries.
-
I would go with the 3/8 due to the sockets being thinner. 1/2 sockets are noticeably thicker and won't work in tight spots. The adaptor would hurt the torque as well. If you would need more power I would get the high torque impact.
DeWalt Tough Box drawer unit...any issues?

Hey regopit, do you think I would be able to fit an angle grinder in that case along with a few grinding wheels? How deep are the drawers?
