We went with a comp cams xe268 cam in my grandpas 350. It is the biggest you can go with a stock converter. I would recommend the complete kit with a new timing chain and gears, lifters, pushrods and valve springs. I think it is 450 for that kit from summit racing. Were you going to use factory heads?
-
Well the engine is painted. We went with the same red as the frame. I didn't take any pictures as the engine is still drying.

It is Chris.

I should mention it will have a chrome timing gear cover and corvette valve covers.

The new cam is in. The engine needs painted and then put back together then it will be done. We are trying to decide a color. We are either going to paint it black or red, what to you guys think?
-
We all said that at one point. Now we are here.

They probably use cheap oil. We always grease the front end of our trucks as well. I doubt the shops do that. Modern vehicles might have only two or four at the most.
-
I change the oil on my truck every 3k miles. My truck has a lot of miles though.
-
Haha that is funny!

Welcome.

That is way better than what it was before. Looks great.

I wouldn't get the metal cutting saw. The blade is a weird size and it turns less rpms.

You could get one of the toilet seats that go in the recieved hitch of your truck. You never know when it will hit.

Is it a parent thing of not being on Facebook or is it just not cool enough for the younger generation? I will say it sucks as you get older its all 30 year old women posting pictures of kids. The only good thing is you find out about tons of tool giveaways from other tool sites and manufactures too. You might just want to keep an account just with all the tool sites and manufactures as friends.
I just never got into the whole social media thing.

Well I don't have facebook and I'm not 18. Oh well.

Who is, Dan and Eric, or festool? I wouldn't mind one

The top of the cab barely comes up to the bottom of my rib cage lol. Everyone who comes out to visit falls in love with it.
-
Something isn't right at all here. Could you try the test again?
-
We put the cab on today and bolted up the front end. Here is what it looks like now

Our programs here are showing no signs of dying.

It is a craftsman c3. It is at the end of its useable life though. I haven't used it in a while since I have upgraded to the lithium batteries.
-
My nicad reads 25.2 fresh off the charger. It is worn out though. The lithium ones read about 20 to 20.5.
-
It is fun. The only thing that wasn't was all of the sanding.

The potholes here are horrible. The nut on the driver side shock on my truck came off after I hit a couple massive potholes on out road. Of course they filled them in with gravel.
